As you joke about this just remember, "The Haunted Mansion" could have became "Disney's The Haunted Mansion" with the addition of a few Eddie Murphy AAs

"Hey, honey, you know they have dead people in the backyard". Imagine hearing that line "for Evers and Evers". That movie will always haunt Disney (Okay, I'm done).

On the other hand, not many Disney films end with the villain literally being dragged down to Hell.
