Link Hourglass lake and Barefoot bay, and build a canal under East Buena Vista from Barefoot Bay to a new Gateway next to the Epcot show marina. This was the genesis of the Skyliner.

But we’re wildly off topic.
It’s amazing that hourglass and barefoot aren’t already connected- they seem to be less than 200 feet apart

Not anymore! Just turn around.
Looks like someone in that thread did. Their direct quote:

"I took this this shot last Tuesday because in all my years in all the different parks, I have never seen an uglier view with so much bad show.

The equipment on the island. The two horrendoUS barges. The giant Cosmic Rewind show building in pretend-you-cant-see-it-blue. I'm even non-plused with the way test track looks.

I see no way that fountains are magically going to make those barges disappear."

I’m just gonna wait for all the defenders of this show claiming that this picture was taken with a telephoto lens or the lens being zoomed in. It doesn’t look that bad, we swear!

It doesn't look like that in person. That's the truth. I will not apologize or feel shamed for stating things that are true. Not that your little rant would have any affect on me...

Anyhoo, pointing out that it doesn't look like that in person is arguing against a false impression that someone made by posting a zoomed in photo and presenting it as "this is what it looks like!!"

It doesn't look that that to any human.

That's the truth.

Humans don't have telephoto lenses in their eyes.

You want to presume I'm defending it because I'm pointing out a deceptive image, that's on you. I don't think anyone, including myself, have said the wedges look good by themselves.

It looks awful in person. Ruins the view across the lagoon. Here is the picture from disney traders taken today on a crappy droid camera.

What shocked me was just how large the barges were. They’re huge! And ugly! You’d think they’d go away at night, right? It’s dark because, you know, the sun goes down! Right? Right??? No! They had the industrial lights on one of the barges! So ugly.

Is this potentially opening this weekend? With CMs being blocked out, hotels booked, Epcot being open until 11?? I know it’s Valentines weekend but, still questionable.
