Will there be statues on top of Guardians of the Galaxy to improve the view for guests at Islands of Adventure
The building is enormous. Pilots now use it as a point of reference to find MCO. On a clear day, they can see it from as far away as New York City and Tokyo. From IOA? That would be one hell of a statue...
"Where in Orlando do you live?"
"The point where the shadow from Starlord's elbow blocks out the sun"...
Huh, would make for a good sun-dial though...
I could see why that would be the most-memorable part of your RRR ride. From the top of the inversion of Rip Ride Rockit the GotG building is clearly visible.
For real, no kidding.
I learned where SSE is, and always look for it on RRR. (The highlight of my UNI day!)
Frankly, I memorised the lakes in central Florida for this reason too and will always choose an airplane window seat based on its route and my chance of spotting SSE. I scream when I do.
I'm in DC and it blocks out the noon-day sun.The building is enormous. Pilots now use it as a point of reference to find MCO. On a clear day, they can see it from as far away as New York City and Tokyo.
I secretly adore RRR! I'm the only one, I know.I could see why that would be the most-memorable part of your RRR ride.
That explains the increased number of sinister deals made in dark alleys.I'm in DC and it blocks out the noon-day sun.
I like it!Here's hoping they put a tattoo parlor right next door. They can call it...

The UK and brexit?
That quote sounds like a particular government administration.
Ha. Indeed. What a disaster. The UK and brexit?
"That monstrosity that Iger calls an attraction casts a shadow over my pool. "I'm in DC and it blocks out the noon-day sun.
"That monstrosity that Iger calls an attraction casts a shadow over my pool. "
...anybody guess which movie this line is from?
Are we anticipating buildings/facades along the right side of the pathway leading to the attraction as a means of hiding the Skyliner posts while in the park?
Is there anything about Epcot's future that has you at all excited? Will it be better or worse than at any point in the last 15 years. It’s dying. It’s a shadow of its former self.
I’m more concerned about the permanent replacement.
I feel that complaining about the visual intrusions of the Guardians building while discussing/praising Rip Ride Rockit is a bit contradictory. From the top of the inversion of Rip Ride Rockit the GotG building is clearly visible.
For real, no kidding.

Personally? No. Sadly. Is there anything about Epcot's future that has you at all excited?
Personally? No. Sadly.
Things look pretty bleak both for Epcot and the world it was supposed to represent.I haven’t been keeping up as much as a should/use to — occasionally popping in trying to catch up — but, is it THAT bad!? Is there any hope??
