But why do things have to be so accurate? It’s entertainment. They re talking/ singing birds.
You moved the goal post.

You were all "But is it really stereotypical exaggeration?"

And I gave an example.

And now, the goal post is "But all things are OK if it's just entertainment."

You have no real stance on this and I won't play this moving goal post game with you. Good day.

The accents are obviously stereotypes but I asked why they are “over the top” or offensive if their are actually people in the world that talk or have talked like that.

You then responded with a very specific example of why Jose’s accent is not accurate. And my response is why does it have to be so accurate? When did entertainment have to be so accurate? I’ll answer for you. 2021 when everyone became offended about every damn thing.

Lastly something can be a stereotype and still be accurate. I’m Italian American and have a few family members that speak like Tony from Lady and the Tramp. Their isn’t one way to speak Any language and depending on where you were born or what region you are from their are tons of different dialects and accents. Does my family member who sounds like Tony from the Lady and Tramp mean their aren’t Italians out there who speak Perfect English? Of course not.

I think it just ruffles his feathers that his kind weren't included in the attraction.

If you have any nostalgia or attachments to the Rescue Rangers, I recommend paying Gadget's a visit before the nephews take over ;)
So now I have to ask, will this be in the classic style of the characters, or the new style?

If $$ means anything (and we know it does) I think I know which I'd bet . . .

Well the long POTC closure makes much more sense after reading this weeks Rat Chat update. Looks like they re getting around to flattening NOS which they originally wanted to do during Project stardust. All those tiered walkways are going away. Hopefully they find a way to preserve the planters and trees. I will admit the area is a pain to navigate during busy days especially with a stroller.

So Rescue Rangers or classic Chip n Dale? I think the latter would fit better with Toontown.
As I said before, my idea for the roller coaster retheme could be something like those new backyard roller coasters that have become so popular lately. The theme could be that Donald built it for his nephews to keep them entertained and not bother him.

My son was just watching those “new” Mickey shorts on Disney + and that episode where they visit Rainbow Caverns came on. How cool would it be if they added a new scene to the ride that paid homage to Disneylands past. Considering the tech, Rainbow Caverns would work really well. An ATIS scene could be fun too.

I actually think this is an idea that could be expanded on. If not MMRR then another ride. I just think the concept of touring Disneylands past with Mickey and Minnie is really cool. The zany tone of the show would be a match made in heaven for something like this. It wouldn’t work with something that takes itself too seriously.

As much as I dislike the design of the new cartoons, I love that they're FULL of Easter Eggs. The Fußball one had me ROLLING. I wonder what else they've hidden in various episodes

Please check out The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse on Disney+ when you get a chance. It's a continuation of the shorts with a longer length. They also made a Winter special called The Wonderful Winter of Mickey Mouse that arrived last month, with a Spring Edition called "The Wonderful Spring of Mickey Mouse" arriving this month.

If I recall the end of the DCA cars ride from all concept art was supposed to be a homage to the rainbow caverns. In the end it just became an open air area with some red lights.

My biggest complaint with Runaway Railway was the lack of details that paid homage to Mickey’s and Disney’s cartoon history.

The creative team on the cartoon really understands their target audience. There’s tons of references to old Disneyland attractions. Obscure Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphony characters come back from time to time. They even bring back older songs.

The ride had none of that. The environments and set pieces were super generic. It also didn’t feel that seamless, with the stark contrast from the floors and ceilings to the main screen. Not a bad ride, but I don’t think it delivered on being a great Mickey Mouse ride nor a great centrepiece attraction.
