That is absolute genius. (Even nailed the seller... )
Martin's hulking out over the sight of those barges!
BobIger1951 only has a 99.2% feedback rating because Bob Chapek and Kareem Daniel obviously left bad reviewsLove the description! haha
I would imagine that most of these layoffs will come from consolidation of existing units within the company. I think itās more about cutting a lot of the bloat that they have from the Fox acquisition and from before.Letās hope the layoffs do not impact the team in charge of the new show.
No.In all seriousness, is anything known yet about the new show either content wise, hardware wise or otherwise?
They're not going to bring back RoE. They may use the Illuminations title and tag this showWith the recent layoffs and consolidations, radio silence on a new show that was supposed to debut around 8 months from now, and a need for cheap brownie points, do we not see D'amaro taking the stage at Destination D and announcing updated Reflections of Earth? It makes too much sense.
They could even use it to retcon the original intent of Harmonious. I know I sound insane, but I also sounded insane last year when I swore EPCOT Forever was going to return.
I could see them bringing back the Illuminations name as a form of a fan service (I feel like the ROE tribute in World of Color One is already kinda building up to this) but I wouldn't put money on them bringing back Reflections of Earth. With the recent layoffs and consolidations, radio silence on a new show that was supposed to debut around 8 months from now, and a need for cheap brownie points, do we not see D'amaro taking the stage at Destination D and announcing updated Reflections of Earth? Maybe........but I don't think IllumiNations: Harm would have helped Harm any............ Unless, it would have forced Epcot to Debut Harm at a Illum. or ROE Level?I personally think getting rid of the Illuminations title was a mistake. Keeping the title seems like a good branding exercise for the nighttime show at Epcot as something distinct from the shows at other parks which reinforces Epcot having its own identity. They seem to have done that with the different iterations of World of Color at DCA.
Unless they are the ones who made Harm, they need to have there Heads Examined.Letās hope the layoffs do not impact the team in charge of the new show.
Whereās the RoE callback in World of Color One? I watched the show and I heard the line āWe Are Oneā sung at the end. If anything thatās a callback to Rivers of Light, but more likely just a reference to the theme of World of Color One.I could see them bringing back the Illuminations name as a form of a fan service (I feel like the ROE tribute in World of Color One is already kinda building up to this) but I wouldn't put money on them bringing back Reflections of Earth.
