Yea I knew they would add those EMH for the 4th but good news anyway!
I do not think that TWDC should continue this ridiculous "wait and see" last minute scheduling.
But I do think that Steve should keep posting what he knows a month before TWDC actually releases it.
Yes you did Steve. And you were continually knocked down by WDW1974. Even though you kept saying these were the plans, he kept insisting you were wrong. He cannot sugar coat and spin it now. Thank you Stsve for giving us ACCURATE information.
Is this post really necessary?
Is yours any more necessary? Is this post really necessary?

Of course. Absolutely. Yes. Affirmative. Positively.
And let's hope it's not the last.![]()
Oh it's not. It's not. More to come. Stay tuned.

Currently the MK is set to show the July 4 pyro on the 3rd as normal. The Studios also have their show lined up for the 4th as normal.
The above two changes havn't yet made it to the calendars, but I'm assured that as this point they are both online to go as normal.
Interesting since Disney's own press releases haven't been updated to reflect those ... not doubting your info ... it just seems dumb on their part.
As to the Studios, I heard the pyro issue there was problematic because they'd have to close down TSMM (and naturally don't want to do so) ...
No matter, it's just not good guest service for us to be past Memorial Day and they don't have their REAL July 4th plans out for the public to see and plan by.
not quite sure what your hoping to accomplish by undermining '74. Even if he did speak in error about the times (which im still not sure he did) I can show you plenty of posts where he provided inside information on both Miceage and LP way before I saw it get mentioned here.
Will you be cutting down the other insiders afterwards? Afterall they have also said some less than positive things about Disney's decision making when it comes to the parks.
Am I missing something (quite possible!), or is this just another attempt by one side of this argument to twist the words of the other side?

Just pointing out when he and you are wrong. That is all.
I say less than positivie things when I don't agree with TDO's or Disney's decisions. However, I don't come on here all high and mighty, sprouting off negative comment after negative comment, like you and 74. So, when you and 74 conitune spew out the negativity about NOTHING coming, or Disney NOT doing this and that, then it is proved OTHERWISE, then yes, calling out we shall do. And if you are proven correct, props will be given where and when due.
What has proven otherwise??? Did Disney send out some press releases and built some new rides when I wasn't looking?
People have been saying nothing new (OF SUBSTANCE) is coming to WDW in the next few years for months now. While it is true WDI is constantly cooking up ideas these ideas can get made unless the executive team signs off on them which they are not planning to do.
The only thing that has a shot is Star Tours 2 because the infrastructure is already there at MGM but who knows when/if TDO will be willing to close it for the upgrade since "the visitor base are tourists on an average 2 year cycle and expect to have everything open when they are there."
So in the original thread (http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=446135) the only interplay between WDW1974 and wdwmagic I can see is the following:
So, just for the sake of accuracy, where did WDW1974 say that Steve was "wrong"? As near as I can tell, Steve pointed out (correctly, as it turns out) that the hours were longer than what had currently been posted on the Disney site along with an additional showing on the 4th fireworks, and WDW1974 pointed out that the press releases didn't say the same.
Am I missing something (quite possible!), or is this just another attempt by one side of this argument to twist the words of the other side?
Thanks, Marsrunner. I rolled my eyes when GothMickey posted and knew it was only a matter of time till someone quoted the actual words said on the earlier thread on this topic.. Which in no way show 74 was either wrong, OR telling Steve he was wrong... In fact, quite the opposite.
I'm getting really sick of people's false views of "objectivity".
The proof is in the pudding. I suggest the thread be locked.
Ugh...And they have the "smaller" demographic. Please, I appreciate the sentiment, but it's wasted.
There are some folks here who would rather attack my credibility than dare criticize TDO or Iger and Rasulo. Why should facts get in the way with attacks based on opinions (and in this case an outright lie about what I said)? There are a vocal minority that want me to leave here so they can suck on pixie dust 24/7.
It's all about pi$$ing contests and it gets old very quickly.
FWIW, Disney's 'updated' release isn't even accurate. It states MK will be open 9-11 on the Fourth (what has been posted for months on the website) ... all internal schedules were updated this week to reflect an 8-1 operating day at MK.
In other words, yet again TDO doesn't have its poo together.
Oh and before folks start praising TDO for showing the July 4th show on the 3rd as well, I'll point out that in Anaheim they are showing the show from July 2-5.
