At this point, not even Tokyo Disney will do a non-IP ride. Though technically there’s Adventureland Treehouse (a walkthrough) and Awesome Planet (a theater show) which are non-IP.

We are living in a time where there is no creativity. Every movie that comes out is either a Reboot, a Remake or a Sequel. That seems to be what Disney in the parks is doing as well. They don't have the same intelligent people like Joe Rohde working for them, so they just do mostly IP screen rides and rollercoasters. And they throw a hardhat on some handpicked photo oper to try to look good. But the true fans see what they are doing.

Strange World and Wish were originals, as were a lot of the Pixar ones like Onward or Soul. So looking at Disney alone you’re technically wrong.

Yeah and how did those stinkers work out for them? They all bombed and aren't getting sequels because they sucked so bad. They can't do anything original because they aren't talented enough. These people don't know what they are doing at Disney.
And before anyone says it... Yes "Soul" sucks too! Even though it was unjustly handed an Oscar. Turning Red sucks as well. They've taken every studio and repeatedly run them into the ground.

Stinker originals are still originals, which is my point. I actually prefer stinker originals over more remakes, sequels, etc. at this point, sequels need to be banned from the Oscars to foster originality. I find Lightyear to be completely indefensible because it is a spinoff, unlike films like Strange World. Doesn’t help that Puss in Boots and One Piece (actually good movies) ate Strange World’s lunch, possibly giving them the wrong idea. Pixar is the only studio to have really recovered at this point and even then…

That's the past. I'm talking the present and future.
Afterall they had to make those originals. You can't raceswap already established cartoon characters, they have to wait for the Live Action remakes to do that. Unless it's involving a non caucasian.
The Stinker originals are probably going to be few and far between as well, judging from the present and future schedule. Which is what I was talking about. They are remaking Moana right after Moana 2 came out.

A new version of the Table Service restaurant in DL Paris, which is similarly themed. With an occasional appearance by Remy himself, like they used to do at Chef de France.
Re-Do: Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
The Louvre Cafe
A much needed expansion with more seating for the renamed Quick Service. Serving Crepes and other French delicacies, like sandwiches on baguettes and different types of Croque Monsieurs, using various french meats. Themed to the famous Art Museum in France with various reproductions of paintings on the walls.

Huge store expansion with Ratatouille, Aristocat, Aurora, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast merch.

I’m thinking the reason why Acolyte in particular gets so much flack is because it is technically doing what the fandom wanted (an entirely new story largely unconnected to the past, old Republic setting, etc), but in the worst way possible. It’s the Sonic 4 or Forces of Star Wars.

Oh, that's pretty cool. I did a version of it years ago in an Animal Kingdom thread. It's a shame they want to get rid of A Bug's Life, seemingly everywhere. It's a very underrated movie that fits way better than Zootopia in the Tree of Life. I suppose it maybe related to Kevin Spacey... in some way. I don't know.

I agree, Zootopia is more about people than animals. I assume the decision is purely profit based since Zootopia is popular, if it were Spacey related there’d be a lot of attractions we’d have lost already lol.

This area has some of the most possibilities for IP and real world elements. So much so that I decided to make 2 attractions for it.
Re-Do: Expansion area and World Showplace Pavilion (front area)
The Great British Animation Ride
----- (dark ride, similar to great movie ride)
----- (England has so many great stories that have emanated from it’s area and region. So I figured why not have them all. Some of which may not be worth their own attraction, but altogether it makes what could be one of the Greatest Disney dark rides. For instance Winnie the Pooh was added to the list instead of Alice in Wonderland. Because his attraction was replaced by Alice's in MK.)

An indoor version of the popular restaurant, which serves both fish and chicken with chips. Similar to Cookes of Dublin at Disney Springs.

It's amazing that most of the countries don't have ride attractions. You figure that the U.K. would be a no brainer.

I never got why there is a rooster singing country in Robin Hood. But I love the music... and the movie.
