Ratatouille in Epcot

Did B&tB really feel or look at all French, though? To me, the content of the ride would fit the pavilion far less than Frozen fits Norway. Ratatouille feels like it could be set in one of the buildings already represented at the pavilion.

I agree that Ratatouille does seem to fit in better with the themes, atmosphere and architecture there. Besides you have the whole food and wine thing that blends in with it. beauty and the beast just screams kiddy magic kingdom to me.

I agree on this point. BatB may end up being a bit of a better ride, but it fits so much less. Not only very much in theme, but even simply architecturally I just can't see it meshing with the rest of France very well at all. The Ratatouille courtyard in WDSP has a very similar style to Epcot France and would fit in.

Neither of them fit. Go with the one that's a better ride.

And Ratatouille is more Pixar Place.

By that logic might as well go with Mystic Manor or Radiator Springs Racers or some other better ride that doesn't fit ;)

I personally think, while I don't like IPs there, it's not like Ratatouille would really stick out like a sore thumb or anything. BatB is just too big of a stretch and intrusion to me.

The expansion pad is off to the side isn't it? Make a rustic French village or better yet, nothing at all until management that isn't so IP obsessed takes over and EPCOT can be great and unique again :)

I suppose, but if you're building a whole new atmosphere and landscape anyway, at that point you might as well just make a new country.

Alas, this is a depressingly good point... Is it bad that in a way I hope there are budget cuts so that some of the really poor decisions just get outright cut for hopefully better projects in the future? :p

The Frozen M&G.

not so much when you look at the architecture/design of it in WDSP....I dont want any IP added, but thats the direction they are going here on out. Norway was just the beginning Im afraid.

I already did Ratatouille at DLP and it is quite nice but please don't expect a spectacular E-Ticket experience, it's more a solid D-Ticket. It is of course VERY popular at WDS in Paris but let's face it, it is because this park is the worst Disney park ever, a cheap, VERY cheap built desaster area and was desperately in need of some major attractions. Actually Ratatouille is the FIRST really good attraction at that sad excuse for a Disney park.

Figured it out because that is what I do.

The French pavilion could expand with a Ratatouille attraction that transports you to DHS and DHS to Epcot. Think Hogwarts Express with rats. Thank you.

PS- The allows 'Impressions' to stay also.

You tell 'em! =D

Although WDSP' main redeeming feature is that behind all the ugliness it actually has a fine attraction roster. ToT and RnRC are great as always. Rat too. Crush is fantastic (if suffering from undercapacity), Cinémagique and Animagique/Mickey show are as good as any movie and stage show. And now that the originals are gone, at least at WDSP you can still do a Backlot and Animation tour. Stitch is fun too, better than Turtle Talk.

Personally I even have a certain appreciation for Armageddon, whatever that weird thing is. The only things lost on me are LMA, the toddler stuff and that insultingly bad Toy Story Land.
