PUSH the Talking Trashcan's last day?

No, but no one really knows if this is going to happen or why at this point. Still several people on this site are saying it is because unfair budget cuts to the Walt Disney World Budget. Let someone find out why it really is happening and than post that information. I for one do not want to see PUSH go away, but I am not going to rant about management until the facts are presented.
I will give you one thing: we don't know if this is happening or not.
If it is, though, then it is a bad thing. Who decided to make this bad thing happen? Management.

OK, a follow up... That person on the other site I mentioned yesterday said there is a dispute between the person who invented and owns the rights to PUSH and the Disney Corp... The owner apparently wants more money than TDO is willing to spend (SHOCKING TDO DOES NOT WANT TO SPEND MONEY RIGHT???)... Kicker is, this person said the dispute wouldn't even be an issue if TDO just allows PUSH to continue...

My wife and I would order a cappuccino smoothie at Auntie Gravities and sip them while Push did his stuff. Yes, some kids bashed the poor thing while parents watched... In the old days there were attendants with it like the characters, but they are gone now, but overall it was a regular and great entertainment in that area of Tommorowland. We saw him at the gaits of AK a few years ago to take away the boredom of waiting in line, so Push was more or less a regular enjoyment for us. Live stuff seems to be going away at the Parks... So sad. We really enjoy Jamie Holman of Off Kilter at Epcot, and we know his frequent absence is more complex, but I wonder what is going on. What about the Cruise Lines draining the coffers, as well as the Vacation Club? are we that once enjoyed the parks are more or less cattle driven through the stalls of staleness left behind as WDW heads out elsewhere?

From what have said here, it might not be management's choice. Mybe it is the company operating PUSH. I can wait and see till we know what is really happening.

I don't really care who is to blame, if it's anyone to begin with. I just wish they'd find a way to find some common ground and continue to keep the little guy in the parks. Clearly PUSH mattered to a lot of people, and that should count for something.

Then INNOVATE something along the same lines. Like the Mobile Muppet Labs or Lucky. Except, you know... DON'T abandon it in a warehouse because you decided your Next Big Thing was too expensive to continue to operate after you put all that money into the project.

Thank you so much! And Congrats for your DD!

I love when you young'ns polish off your degrees!

Oddly her diploma came in the mail today. Brought a tear to my eye and I am a pretty stoic person. She finished in 3 1/2 years with a double major so I am a proud Momma. Thanks.

Soo, you have a friend who said, nothing? lol.

His "friend" is the same person I know, and may or may not be the one who owns PUSH, operates the company that PUSH is a part of, etc....

I would guess that negotiations may still be in the talking phase, so he doesn't want to screw things up.

Orrrrrrr maybe TDO hit hit him with a gag order...

Oh boy.

I'm all for new Entertainment, but is PUSH really a better cut than the Giggle Gang or the Royal Majesty Makers?
