Thank you so much! And Congrats for your DD!Congrat's on your graduation! My DD just graduated in December. Posts like this always put a smile on my face.
That's right the candy artist, Miyuki, left voluntarily. That was late November or early December (though reported on this forum today, she left Epcot at least 8 weeks ago). I asked her back in October where she was going next, and where can we see her. She was vague but she was planning to travel around the United States. She wants to see the USA! After 15+ years in the same spot in Epcot, it's a lovely spot but understandable to want new scenery.
So Miyuki was not cut, it was not a sudden thing, she's been making plans for some time. We could be seeing her candy art again someday (I hope) just maybe not in a Disney park.
Ziti Sisters on the other hand, don't know the story there. That sounds more sudden...
How can you say this, everything that happens at Walt Disney World is because someone wants a bigger bonus or yacht. I know this because I read it every day on this web site. You know Disney management is evil. Just Kidding.
Yes, surely PUSH just wants to travel the US as well.
Around the World in 80 Days, featuring.. Push as Phineas Fogg. ?Thank you, you've just given me my movie pitch....

Between this and the two different World Showcase entertainers that were announced to be leaving this week (with no corresponding announcements of anything new taking their place), WDW sounds like it's cutting budgets and paring down. More fallout from the financial failure that is NextGen?
Perhaps it's NextGen but perhaps not. Don't discount the effects of the so-called Affordable Care Act. Businesses have to provide coverage to all Full Time Employees (defined as 30 hours a week or more). Companies, and not just Disney, are cutting back to keep operating.
Harder now too, because all the trashcans don't even say PUSH on them anymore, they're just blank facesSadly yes, It was always FUN to look for PUSH in TL.
Well this might be true with other companies, but Disney has already made 427 part time employees full time to qualify for the Affordable Care Act. See the attached article: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-...l-time-to-park-staff-as-obamacare-starts.html
On the other hand, Disney is Laying off hundreds in the Interactive department - according to Reuters and Christian science Monitor !! It had to be paid for somewhere !!

My point is Disney does a lot of things that I do not agree with, but not everything they do is just to be evil.
