PUSH the Talking Trashcan's last day?

Pioneering the Universe Within!
I'm all for new Entertainment, but is PUSH really a better cut than the Giggle Gang or the Royal Majesty Makers?

Both of which are presumably more expensive to run than Push, given the size of their equity casts. Unless Push has high maintenance costs (which I'm not privy too, obviously).

Just an FYI: the hashtag #savePUSH has started trending at around 2600+ tweets on Twitter by PUSH fans.

Honestly, I hope he stays, he's the cleanest trashcan I've ever seen, and that's saying something! Most trashcans are filthy things, but not PUSH< he's clean, polite, silly, somewhat loud, but cute and fun!

That and we can keep Tomorrowland clean if we get Disney to keep PUSH around :)

Then INNOVATE something along the same lines. Like the Mobile Muppet Labs or Lucky. Except, you know... DON'T abandon it in a warehouse because you decided your Next Big Thing was too expensive to continue to operate after you put all that money into the project.

But no one has any proof that PUSH is going away because of the cost of the next big thing. The only thing we know is there is a rumor that he may be leaving.

God bless the "Ignore" button.

You misread: I am in FAVOR of the Next Big Thing. I'm tired of THOSE projects being scrapped after being used for just a few years.
Either way, we'll find out in a couple of days.

Orlando Sentinel saying PUSH isnt going anywhere..take that for what its worth.

I have to say that this is classic example of what I read everyday on this site. A rumor comes up and the people that are upset with Disney Management says that they are once again up their evil ways. I hope PUSH is staying and look forward to seeing him again. Do you think we will get anyone to say I am sorry and this was not a evil Disney conspiracy to destroy the parks. The people that have answered my posting saying I defend Disney and all they are trying to do is point out the problems where wrong this time.

None of that here. If anything, there will be a spin on how its still FP+'s fault...even tho nothing has changed, in this aspect.

It sounds like he's not leaving after all. If leaks of his imminent departure were just contract negotiating brinksmanship, social media pressure may or may not have had some influence on the outcome. My guess is not.

I doubt it, not with a company the size of Disney. They probably recognized that the cut wasn't worth the negative response that had begun....
