Having looked through almost none of the preceding thread, if there WERE a Tron atrraction of some sort being built anywhere, I'd think a well-themed Vekoma Booster Bike would be the best option:

Did everyone here even see Tron?

Yes, saw the old Tron several times as a kid, and TRON: Legacy twice so far...I've also played the original TRON video game several times, have the TRON App for my Iphone and played TR2N (the game that came out a few years ago) several times as well

Have you played Tron: Evolution yet? The online play is awesome. The story mode is not bad either. But online play is well worth it.

No, I don't own any consoles right now other than a wii.

I want to get a PS3 but I know my productivity would grind to a halt

I have ridden the Pony Express coaster at Knott's Berry Farm a few years back, and I totally thought about utilizing that for a lightcycle ride when the latest Tron film came out...interesting ride, but not the most comfortable.

Um, I don't know what that means...

I saw the original Tron, so I know what a lightcycle is. My wife has seen neither film and didn't know what Tron was until I explained it to her. She wouldn't know a lightcycle if she tripped over one. This is actually true for most of my extended family now that I think about it...

I'm not sure there's a lot to discuss with "Project Z" right now. At least not with regards to WDW.

I was just saying that even if people didn't see the movie, they likely saw images of the lightcycles on the internet or in the trailers. Seeing a still frame of those is enough to build demand for a ride even if they haven't seen the film.

Well if Lee said it was closely tied to an international park, could we be getting pirate mountain?

Or is it too closely related to Splash Mountain.

Then there is always the suspended coaster planned for Beastly Kingdom, or Fire Mountain

Pirate Mountain would make sense. It's the only franchise that can compete with HP. I just don't see room in adventureland. What if it's a indoor coaster/flume hybrid?

If you read the posts above, The rumoured project Z, was supposed to be a Tron attraction going in Tomorrowland.

But, alas it seems to dead, at least for WDW.
