Need to remember to buy the original background for the Dumbo page from istock before I print the book, this was my test using the image.

I can't decide if I like this page or not, do you think the flowers are too much? I tried it without and it was nice but lacking something I think  Perhaps I should show you all the before and after to get your opinions?

Did this page last night - I think it needs something else but not sure what

You can sigh a breath of relief now thats it for now but I'll be back :ROFLOL:

THese are all great! I just started scrapping my Animal Kingdom pictures (decided to start with them) I will have to post them once I get pics of them. I found the Basic Gray Granola and Archaic papers are perfect for AK!

Thank you for your nice comments :) I am pretty pleased with it - some pages more than others. I guess I picked it up pretty quick because I could already use photoshop, we've had CS3 and then CS4 for ages and we've made lots of things over the years, CD cases, calendars, DVD boxes, tshirts et so I hit the ground running :ROFLOL:

This one my son actually found his first hidden Mickey. We not into looking for them, but if we find one it is always fun!

Expedition Everest - we didn't need the fastpasses we grabbed because we were able to go on twice, with no wait that day. Well my son and DH went on the second time. I stood outside and took the picture of them coming down! The little photo down at the bottom is us - I took a snapshot of the photo Disney took, didn't turn out well, but you can see the panic on my face in the original! LOL

Donna your pages are gorgeous, I can't believe you managed to get the shot of your family on expedition everest that is so cool. My daughter has played on that dino but we never spotted the hidden mickey.

Stitch looks great! I like the purple and the honeycomb.:)

I like the darker Pooh one, and the red checkers for Chef Mickeys.

Thanks for the feedback guys - I am now settled on using the honey background for Pooh but I'm still stuch with Chef Mickey. I'm with Donna and I like the checkers but my DH agrees with Disneyfalcon and likes the purple background back. Can someone come along and cast a deciding vote lol

Productive Weekend :0)

I spent the weekend sorting our stuff from our 2005 trip to Disneyland Paris and I have made a fab start to this album. I've decided on an A-Z theme which is working pretty well, struggling with J and X but I'll do those letters last with left over pics. We don;t have many photos from this trip because it was only a weekend away and we didn;t have a great camera. It is actually much easier though only having 100 pics to look at rather than the usual 2000

Here are the fruits of my labour

There is a space under the Journalling where our names go but I rubbed this out for posting on the net so it kinda looks like it needs to move down the page a bit.

The paper clip has the word 'Arrival' embossed onto it but it is hard to see at this resolution.

Gorgous Disneyland Paris layouts! I love the castle page! The title is awesome. I need to use some torn paper. I can't remember how, but I think I've got a tutorial saved somewhere!

I'm late getting into this one, first let me tell you that your pages are amazing! I love all of them! I agree completely with Disneyfalcon. I love the honeycomb and the purple. I like the checkers background, but I just feel that it doens't show the pictures to their fullest. The purple just makes the pictures stand out.

Donna, I love your animal kindgom pages! They are beautiful!

And, Hobbes, your newest pages are wonderful too! Yay for getting so much done! And I agree that having less pictures is sometimes easier to handle!

Thank you Tammy (hope thats right and you don't mind me using your name, you can call me Emma :animwink:) This was the first time I managed to get the torn paper effect to work and look good, I used this tutorial for photoshop http://www.photoshopcstutorials.co.uk/html/torn_paper_photoshop.html

:ROFLOL:It is a 50-50 split on the checkers and purple background again!! I can see what mouselvrmom means though the pictures do kinda get lost in the checkers background so I think I am going to go with purple this time and try and use the checkers again some how in my 2009 book.

Thank you to everyone for helping me to decide, I am soooo bad at making decisions its amazing I ever get anything done

Thank you for your lovely comments about my pages, my confidence is growing but I still need the support of using kits and layout templates, one day I will have the confidence to start a page from scratch myself

For G I have a picture of DD with Goofy but she was terrified of him and started crying which we caught in the shot. Would you still use it and put it in with journalling saying Goofy was maybe one character too many!! Or would you think of something else. I am really struggling and can not think of anything else for G unless I go with the hotel and the caption a Good Nights Rest or something. I have so few pictures that I am already using every shot some where in the book.
