Possible Frontierland expansion

Why would they add this when you have thunder mountain and splash mountain in the same land? Isn't WRE basically a variation of those attractions?

Why not add an attraction to Adventureland instead?

I'd actually prefer the $350 mill go to Animal Kingdom so that right after avatar opens the park can embark on another attraction. Magic Kingdom is so jam packed as it is that continuing to give people reasons to go to the other parks is nothing but a win.

They do have to keep adding to MK even as they build up DAK and DHS/A or MK at its growth rate will be become completely unnavigable.

My worry is they'll finally have an excuse to dock the Belle permenantly.

I tend to agree.... Martin says its been on-again, off-again for a bunch of years. Then again, whatever they do is bound to be at least 4-5 years out from right now.

Assuming this rumor pans out .... You'd have Avatar/Rivers of Color first and then likely phase one of whatever goes on at DHS opening first.

The biggest question I have is can they add capacity to the parks fast enough to match up with the growth of the resort as a whole.

MK has pulled 30% peak crowds so far this year... which is downright ridiculous.

I remember seeing somewhere that it would be converted into a restaurant a while back, but not sure if there is any truth to that

I'm assuming this means the E-ticket on TSI is back on the table. I'd honestly welcome that. Pity about the Liberty Belle, though. I assume they'd pick an E-ticket for TSI that would provide energy to the land to help replace what would be lost with Liberty Belle.

Would this expansion mean leveling TSI or altering TSI? This expansion would need to really knock my socks off to justify losing TSI and RoA in one fell swoop.

I like the idea of a Frontierland expansion, but not at the cost of TSI. The Liberty Belle, TSI, and ROA are quintessential parts of a castle park.

Not to be passive aggressive and all (because I soooo hate that!), but I'd guess old lightbulb dropped his information in my thread because he felt that was the best place for it, where the serious discussion on these type of things take place.

So, I have some things to attend to today, but when I decide to chime in it will be where the information was dropped.
