Checked the status of the WDW closures along with my morning coffee...and I am not seeing anything in regards to Pirates. Is it open today??

Got to say, just by seeing the picture alone of the refurbishment, it honestly doesn't look that bad. And they left my favorite pirate guy in there! Just anxious to hear the new audio of that section.
