I rode PotC last weekend and in the large battle scene between the galleon and the fortress there was a large projection on the back wall (to the right of the ship). The light was square and took up almost the entire wall, from the ceiling to the bottom. I wish I had taken a picture, but I think that the light wasn't solid and had dots or some sort of pattern in it. It seemed to me that they were testing for something. Does anyone know if a projection on that wall is part of the upcoming refurb?
There is already a projection on the wall. Obviously the projector was malfunctioning during your ride.

When I look at POV videos of that scene there just seems to be a blue glow on the horizon:

Or is there more that I don't remember and cannot see on the video?

In this DLP video there are clouds:

That happened to my boyfriend and I last time we went on it! I was like...what in the world... :hilarious:
I rode it twice on my trip. First time, no problems. Second time... should have known something was up when we saw that the seats were wet. Everything else was going fine until we passed that last cannonball. Then it was a very good thing that our matching Disney shirts were black.

If they can fix how wet you might get on this thing, I think everyone would appreciate it. A friend and I got wetter on Pirates than we did on Splash- one of the cannonball effects soaked our shirts
Very true! If you sit all the way to the right 3rd or 4th row then you get completely soaked! For all some may know I might have been dunked in the well myself!
