I hate it. I cringed almost as hard as I did the first time I saw the country bear movie. I hate the new voice, I hate her voice, this is so stupid. They just should have eliminated the scene all together. Maybe they could have put some of the sword fighting pirates like they have over in Paris.
BTW, speaking of the Country bear movie, if you ever want to see a good version of it, check out the Muppet Movie from 2011, same exact plot, and story. At least it worked with the Muppets though.

Yup. Just scrap it and replace it with Shanghai's now. As much as I love having a ride stay classic, this is like dressing up a corpse. There's no core, no soul to the ride anymore. Too many groups interacting with it with no overarching vision. Either rebuild it from scratch to match DLR's or scrap it for Shanghai's.

I watched the scene. I was okay with the new scene until they shouted "we want the rum, we want the rum..." I think I would have been happier if they just didn't acknowledge what was there before.

I would've still hated it, but if they had put Gonzo from the Muppets on the other side piping in with "I'll take them all!" it would've at least been funny. An abomination still...but funny.
