Wow... Mediterranean!!! Now there's a trip report I can't wait to read.
I've always wanted to visit Europe and to do so aboard a Disney cruise... perfect. I'm so excited for you! So what put you over the edge to book it? And last minute, at that?! Will the kids be going or is it just you and the hubby?! Inquiring minds want all the details.
I've been looking into Turtle Cove and it appears that a bazillion different tour operators will take you there... the questions then become: do we want to do a beach, too? Catamaran, Sail or Powerboat? Booze or no booze? Private excursion or no? It all boils down to a simpler question... how much are we willing to spend?!
That's always the ultimate question isn't it!!
This is going to be one mondo trip report, we'll be gone two weeks!!
It was an amazing travel agent special, too good to pass up. Hubby can't leave work for two weeks, and ds15 can't miss two weeks of high school.
So, by process of elimination, it's me dd12, a friend of mine and her daughter who is a friend of dd's. So it's perfect!!
Ds15 did say I'm going to have to buy him off for going on a cruise without him.
After we booked, my parents and in laws couldn't resist joining us, so they booked two cabins at military rates (they're both retired military, and it was a great price too, not as good as ours , but $2200 for an 11 night cruise in a cabin with a verandah!!
), so now we have three cabins.
My friend and I were upgraded from an inside room to a verandah and I was jumping up and down when I found out. We have always been to cheap to pay for a verandah and now I get to try one! For 11 nights!! In the Mediterranean!!!:sohappy:
Dh, who is being so sweet to tell me to go and he's not being bitter, was a tiny bit jealous when he heard that one!:lookaroun
