Phase closing and wait times - holidays 2012

For the record, getting in to MK last night was absolutely doable.

Got to the park around 5 and even managed to get into Be Our Guest as a walk up with a 15 minute wait. Didn't do any major attractions, but as the night went on, the park slowly cleared out, though the mountains (save for Splash, which was pretty much walk on all night due to the cold) kept their 2 plus hour waits. Managed to walk on to Pirates, Jungle Cruise, CoP, and People Mover after 9:00.

Sat down on the curb on Main Street right after the 10:30 MSEP passed by (around 11) and stayed for the big fireworks. Walked right out to a monorail afterwards (we hustled but didn't run) and had no wait.

Not nearly as horrendous as I had anticipated, but again, I went in not wanting to do anything but see the fireworks. People with an agenda that included major attractions were likely disappointed.

December 30th at MK at night was a real treat last year for us as well. Glad you loved it.

Test Track and Soarin' Fast Passes are gone(and that's til 1am) current TT wait 220 and Soarin' 180

Test Track got up to 250 last NYE.

It was a great night to check out the Lion King movie at The Land.

We're eating at the Libery Tree Tavern right now. The place is packed but it's manageable. We're just taking it slow. After midnight the waits will be fairly low so no need to rush.

You're saying that 95,000 people can fit into MK?????

if memory serves, yes, but as I said I could be wrong. I remember specifically the 15k additional and attendance being 78k at phase 2

And just to add, There is a decent wait to board the train at Main Street train station. I'd say a good 30mins

Just seen a photo of Epcots bag check. The smaller one.

Crowded doesn't even start to describe it. A dozen people wide and heading back out of shot towards the old kennel.

Wow! I would never wait 200 mins for any attraction. I would sit n my patio and wait for the fireworks. Where's the pictures?

Funny thing is there actually is one.

Set up blow-off behind Main Street west both yesterday and today... as well as a nice seated area for fireworks viewing.

I love seeing photos like that...

It really is jaw dropping to see that many people! And it appears that the pic is of the entrance... Could just imagine how the inside of the park looks.
