Pet Peeve parents who take their kids to the parks in pajamas

It is to making the choice to go out in public - in this case WDW in pajamas - and yes, I would look down my nose at such people.
Yup!

Also: Yoga pants aren't pants unless you're doing yoga. A grown man wearing basketball shorts any time other than 1) playing basketball or 2) sleeping should be ashamed of himself.

Honestly, it's not difficult. Everyone makes a judgment about every other person they encounter in their lives whether they want to or not. You have the choice whether people's judgment about you is "wow, that person is a slob" or "wow, that person is really put-together" or anywhere in between. You can also choose not to care. But being a slob with the freedom to not care that you're a slob is not the same thing as not being a slob in the first place.

The bulk of this thread is a microcosm of our society today. "Your behavior does not affect me directly in any way. However, I do not agree with your behavior, so I am going to tell you how your behavior, even though it has zero impact on my life, is wrong, and that you are below me because I think your behavior is wrong. I do not have the capacity to accept your behavior/beliefs and move on, so I am going to impose my own beliefs and opinions on you, regardless of the fact that your behavior/beliefs/opinions are neither morally, legally or ethically wrong. Also, I do not have the capacity to discuss opinions in a civilized manner without it breaking down into what appears to be two 5 year olds slinging mud at each other."
And people wonder why humanity is such a mess-if we can't talk about what people wear at a theme park in a respectful, civilized manner, how can we work out the important issues we face?

Oh sheesh. File this thread under the category of Judgy Judges Judging Everyone.

We've seen this thread before, in various incarnations - people offended by people in short shorts; people offended by people wearing tank tops at dinner; people offended by people having a drink with dinner; basically people just being offended.

Isn't there enough to keep you and your family occupied at WDW without having to gripe and grouch about what other people are wearing or doing? Why not just enjoy yourself in the way that you choose, and let others do the same? If looking at someone in pajamas makes your brain hurt, try looking at something else instead. If Disney allows that (and I didn't know they did), it is nobody's business but the person wearing the pajamas (and/or the parent).

The self-elected World Police on here are getting a little out of control.
Two thumbs WAY up :) = Nicely put........

Adults that dress like giant babies are the problem, not the people who criticize them. It's infantilism. Peter Pan Syndrome.

I also think it's funny that you want our conversations to be "civilized" when the very thing we're talking about are people who behave and dress in an uncivilized manner.

The fact that you think people who dress that way is uncivilized is your opinion. And you obviously think that people who fit into that category are less than you because you are "civilized" and they are not. What if these people are good, kind people who contribute to society-but because they wear PJs to a theme park, they're uncivilized? Does their manner of dress affect your day at WDW or your life in any way? Doesn't make sense to me, but your opinion does not offend or anger me or affect my life in any way-it's just a topic of discussion, ie point, counterpoint, etc. Why can't we have more of that here? Too many people in society place too much emotion into a discussion with differing opinions, and that's where it breaks down.

I wore my pjs to school once because...I could. I was still groomed, brushed my teeth and hair and what have you, but...I wore my pjs. I was so surprised. People still didn't care I existed. Shocker!

I think you shook those people down to the very core of their souls by doing that. You're a horrible human being, and I demand you to stay away from every other person on this earth and to change your disgusting ways before you ruin more lives. ;)

Not the legging hate from you again.

Leggings are a staple in any woman’s wardrobe. There is a difference between leggings for going out, and leggings for running/yoga.

So, back away from the yoga pant legging critique. You’re Wrong.

Regarding men- I’m more offended by cargo shorts than I am by basketball shorts.

Got it guys? Do Not Wear Cargo Shorts. (Unless you’re fishing) Please. You look ridiculous. Thanks. :)
