I just want to make sure I have a grasp on what’s appropriate..

Which is the most offensive clothing at Disney-

A. Toddlers in PJs.

B. Leggings on women.

C. Cargo shorts on men.

D. Matching Etsy or other ironed on “(family name’s) trip to Disney” or “My favorite Disney Princess is (insert daughter’s name here)”

My vote is C, tied with D (sorry matching shirt peeps) :)
@CaptainAmerica, in all of his foolishness, clearly votes B.

Anyone else?

The bulk of this thread is a microcosm of our society today. "Your behavior does not affect me directly in any way. However, I do not agree with your behavior, so I am going to tell you how your behavior, even though it has zero impact on my life, is wrong, and that you are below me because I think your behavior is wrong. I do not have the capacity to accept your behavior/beliefs and move on, so I am going to impose my own beliefs and opinions on you, regardless of the fact that your behavior/beliefs/opinions are neither morally, legally or ethically wrong. Also, I do not have the capacity to discuss opinions in a civilized manner without it breaking down into what appears to be two 5 year olds slinging mud at each other."
And people wonder why humanity is such a mess-if we can't talk about what people wear at a theme park in a respectful, civilized manner, how can we work out the important issues we face?

🤦‍♀️

The point is- shocking as it may sound- women have a bum.. who knew, right???
There’s no reason that a woman shouldn’t wear tight fitting pants in public, at work..or anywhere else. It’s not like anything is hanging out or too much skin showing.
It’s not much different than a man in well fitted pants or shorts.
Thank you.......
Yoga pants .... Or what ever you want to wear.
Im easy..... The world would be a better place with more yoga pant wearing comfortable women kicking around.

You get a bum....and you get a bum....and you get a bum.

What's not to love here people........

It's insane that I've spent so much time reading a thread about nothing important. Even crazier is how the most insignificant subject can blow up into a major debate on the internet. I've "liked" a lot of posts here and I now realize that they all contradict one another. I'd remove all of my "likes" but taking back a "like" probably carries some kind of stigma here that I don't wish to bear.
To summarize my own thoughts on this subject:
-I myself always prefer to overdress
-I sometimes wish other adults had more decorum
-I don't believe in judging others for something as unimportant as choice of clothing
-who cares?
-I probably have judged, actually
-all rules are off if we're dealing with kids
-especially if there's been a blowout

That's just patently false. Wear basketball shorts and a tank top the next time you go to a wedding, see how people react.
Compare a wedding to Disney? Seems like a logical comparison. 😏

In all hoesnty, if someone is so bothered by others attire on vacation, maybe you are too uptight for vacation. Just a thought

I'm not sure where you're getting that I'm "bothered." I'm not bothered, angry, upset, concerned, or worried. I just think you look like a slob.

It certainly seems you’re bothered by it. I mean, you are posting on Internet forum about how people look like slobs Disney World. Remember the old adage, those in glass houses. I’m sure some you look like a slob as well, as I’m sure so do I.

Listen, In all honesty, if someone wants to wear a suit to Disney World, knock yourself out. If someone wants to walk around shorts and a tank top knock yourself out. It’s their vacation too.

I think/hope that most of this thread has just been in good fun.

I don’t even think cargo shorts are sloppy... just funny. WHY do men need so many pockets?! What do they put inside of them?

However, I’ll admit that sometimes I’m a little jealous of the pocket space.

They need that many pockets because their wives are tired of them asking to put their things in their purses... They should invest in hip sacks instead, lol

Lol....my wife asks me the same thing. I will admit that with portable phone chargers it’s useful. 😁

Conversely, they become the bag that doesn't need to go through bag check or ride storage and are filled with phones, chargers, and some times even water bottles. They should be renamed shorts of holding. ThinkGeek could make a killing.

Ill admit, almost every pair of shorts I wear are cargo shorts. I have worn them since middle school. I generally just like the fit better, but on vacation they are a life saver. Dont need bags for trinkets and I put my wallet and phone in the pockets that button up so they dont fall out on a ride or so someone has a harder time pick pocketing me. Which when I was in New Orleans seemed like all of the time. Plus its nice to have the pocket space when my wife gets tired of carrying the stuff in her jeans...... Plus I work in IT, my old job let me wear cargo shorts which made carrying tools super easy. But my new job, I have to wear pants. So I bought Cargo pants.

I am not excusing the sin of cargo shorts, BUT, I sometimes (often) wish that I had larger pockets when at an amusement park.. I get sick of paying for a locker constantly just to go on a ride. Two pockets would suffice though, not the 42 that come with cargo. ;)

I’ve actually debated buying a super skinny pack to hide under my shirt.
