Disney doesn't like dark rides anymore. They're too expensive to air condition.
Traveling through hell was a common troupe of old dark rides, so no air conditioning just adds to the atmosphere.Disney doesn't like dark rides anymore. They're too expensive to air condition.
The $80 million was for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey with the entire land clocking in, I believe, around $280 million. Adjusting for inflation that’s about $325 million, or about a 30% premium over Toy Story Land.
What really sucks about the budget for Pixar Pier is that, despite what all of the defenders say about doing something small, it is more than enough money to build a fun little dark ride that would have added capacity and been its own curiosity to explore.
Could have easily bought four brand new Zamperla flat rides. Heck, it could have bought four copies of Justice League: Battle for Metropolis.Yeah but why spend that on one new ride when’s you can spend it on like 4 “new rides.”

Money is wasted at Disney regardless. They make SO MUCH and just repurpose crap like Paradise Pier and Guardians of the Galaxy. Really, the entire DCA park.
Does Pixar Pier actually exist or is it just an elaborate photoshop hoax? Someone please confirm; this content grows increasingly troubling.Just incase you didn't quite get it!

Proof that Disney has truly become a heartless company, mercilessly exploiting the emotions of imaginary friends everywhere just for their own self-gain. Shameful.
My son asked me if we could sue Disney if they ever decide to turn Matterhorn into a Frozen attraction.Imaginary friends should join in a class-action anti-defamation suit against Disney!

I'm coming to believe the the worst part of Pixar Pier is the delayed pace at which things are opening. It would be a bit more tolerable if everything was open and we could begin aclimating to the mediocrity instead of this parade of disappointments.
