I've never realized how ugly the old Paradise Pier entrance was until now.

anywho, interested to see the consensus on this and if, in practice, the latest revision of this troubled area shares the charm of it's inspiration in japan

what if this is simply another chapter in the 'how many times can we reimagine this damn space before we get it right?' book...
and, as it's a rather expensive and ridiculous book to continue working on, 'the end' was just inserted via raw injection of ips?

I was just there. Looks like they added the shading for the Pixar-Pal-Around queue. It actually looks really ugly from the Ariel ride. It was yellow. Everything else looked super nice.

I hate how flat and textureless it all looks.

This is especially true of the buildings that flank the entrance, which still retain their awkward boxy shape, and the awful queue for the Fun Wheel. Did not realize how bad that shade canopy looked either. They really should have built that covered walk-around boardwalk.

I do think its funny with this 'expansion' they are actually losing a ride until next year with the carousel. How do you not have time to change over a ride that's already there? How shoddy does the management and schedule have to be when that doesn't get done for another year?

Sonething similar happened with The New Fantasyland - Alice opened a year later.

Hey, at least the Pixar Pal-A-Round will be finished.. (or the Fun Wheel? Sun Wheel? All 3 versions are the exact same ride experience that’s been there since 2001 so I guess the name doesn’t matter at this point)

Just report a few threads as spam, and then ignore the user and the threads will not be shown. Its a spam bot and will be cleaned up soon I'm sure.

I honestly thought I clicked on the wrong page lol. I had no idea what was happening. But yeah its not the end of the world, it will be cleaned up soon. I don't get why this site was targeted though since its clearly for a non-English base but no one ever accused spam botting as being accurate.

Every forum type site goes through this every couple of years because the bot makers know they aren't monitored as closely as other sites. I remember when MC was hit like every weekend for like a month.
