As I’ve said before, Paradise Park may just be the best land in any Disney park now with a fantastic line up of off the shelf flat rides and Mermaid.

It’s one saving grace is Paradise Gardens.

Im looking forward to a few blissful hours at DL early Saturday morning while everyone is at Pixar Pier.

Lol same! I’m going to (try) to be there early, take my son on Pan/ a few other FL rides and get on Pirates (after buying the POP). Of course there is also the temptation to run to Pixar Pier and get a FP for Incredicoster if they re doing FP that day it is.

I haven’t experienced either and therefore don’t have a final opinion, but they’re both disappointing in general, in terms of concepts. I think it’s really sad and disappointing what Disney is choosing to do with their parks.

With that being said, at this point, I’ll take Pixar Pier, but not by a wide margin. I just have no interest in visiting a land solely based on Toy Story. Pixar Pier looks to be garbage so far as well, but I am somewhat intrigued by Incredicoaster (worst name ever). There’s literally nothing about Toy Story Land that interests me, therefore Pixar Pier gets a slight edge for me at this point.

What’s bothering me the most is clashing colors with the green lampposts on the bridge. Can they at least paint them to blend in with the Pixar entrance?

I'd take Pixar Pier for sure, both in isolated quality and overall theme. A step backwards from Paradise Pier still leaves it better off than Toy Story Land.

I haven't been following too closely to spare myself some brain cells. Has the Jessie statue been installed yet?

Not yet and probably won’t be until later. The carousel is still King Triton themed... so I imagine they don’t want Jessie standing in front of it yet

Pixar Pier is a branded amusement park. Toy Story Land is a weak concept but has some narrative sense.

Pixar Pier looks weird because it doesn't have that Pixar look to it. At least Cars Land, Bug Land and Toy Story Land look like the movies.

To be fair Lamplight is trying to appeal to the selfie crowd, and we all know they're loaded.

Those yellow lampposts are awful. Any color would be better. Why can't they be a nice light blue like the majority of the land is?
