So much is shut down from Cove Bar over to here I felt bad for anyone paying full price for only being able to enjoy 2/3 to 3/4 of the park now.

To be fair, there are four (4) attractions closed at DCA right now; California Screamin', Grizzly River Run, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and the Fun Wheel. That leaves 21 other attractions (rides), plus a handful of stage shows, still operating in DCA. Four closed attractions is 1/6 of the park, not 1/3.

California Screamin' is the big one, obviously, as that rarely closed for refurbishment. But Grizzly and Challenge Train always close in January. That said, on this past rainy Tuesday with all the construction walls up and several big rides closed, I'm sure it seemed rather bleak. But that's what you get for going in January.

What will be interesting is how they handle this in April during the busy Easter Vacation weeks. That could get interesting.

It's interesting that they've completely removed the loop on the coaster. I guess this is going to be more than just a show update and include a full rehab of the ride itself.

Don’t take my word for it but I heard management has caught wind of it being dubbed the fun wheel of death so... no more gondolas. From now on you hang on to the beams for your life the entire way.

I hope that they keep the popcorn lights for the Pixar Pier (Paradise Pier) marquee.

Does anyone remember if they removed the loop when the Mickey ears were removed during the DCA 2.0 remodel?

Separately it is logical for the loop to need replacing at this point in the rides lifespan.
