You're on a pier... there are old-timey rides... of a pier variety... with Pixar branding.

But, but... that arch. Why is it there? Which begs the question how did The Incredibles end up setting up shop (or living?) at an amusement pier? Undoubtedly Disney will come up with some kind story for Pixar Pier and its "neighborhoods", but for now it's impossible for me to tell what the story is from the pictures.

I sure hope not. I think in this case it's best to just let a pier be a pier.

One might also say that bad design is simply bad design. Even disregarding the phallic interpretation... It's just stupid, awkward, and looks like the logo for Kingdom Hearts II.
That's a whole other discussion. The fact the some in the Disney fanbase go straight to the phallic interpretation is pretty weak.

The backstory is..."Something has gone horribly wrong! DLR management has been taken over by nincompoops!"
