I'd say the back seat on a lot of coasters is the way to go, especially rides like Big Thunder and other wooden coasters where you get whipped around a lot and there's good opportunity for air time. But with California Screamin' (and bigger inverted steel type coasters) it is wayyyy worth the extra wait to get the very front seat. Totally different ride experience, especially due to the launch.

I agree. The only coaster at DLR That it think is better in the back is BTM as it is a gravity coaster. I think Space Mountain and California Screamin are way better in the front and I wait for it 9 times out of 10.

Another shot of mine, from a trip last year. I don't think there is a better view in any Disney park than this one...of course, besides looking at the Castles down Main Street.

pacific wharf at night > paradise pier at night imo.
Then again I like pacific wharf more already anyways, has a nice calmness to it.

So this was our greeting tuesday morning. There is a wall here and another at Midway Mania with no way through or around. No heads up beforehand. Just an overly smiling cast member with a really bad tale of annual refurbishment telling you to turn around and go back the way you came. So much is shut down from Cove Bar over to here I felt bad for anyone paying full price for only being able to enjoy 2/3 to 3/4 of the park now.

Of course, we all know what Disney has to say about this: "Get More Happy!"
