I also don't mind the tower, it's visually interesting, and the ride itself is far better.

Oh, you will love! The Paris version is a blast, with some unique twists of its own.
In the last year or two, I’ve had to accept that I’m no longer able to stomach any iteration of the ride, which is a great shame because I truly love the theming of the Florida Tower of Terror. I guess I’ve officially entered middle age.

This will be our fourth trip to Paris, and the parks, it was originally supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip but we love it so much (the city, the parks, and Europe overall) we can’t seem to stay away.

My gf keeps laughing at me because I LOVED the French Onion soup at King Ludwig’s and I’m praying it’s the same recipe at the new English place, it’s on the menu so 🤞. It’s one of the things I’m most excited for.

Amazing!

We had an absolute blast in June when we went, can't wait to get back in the future. :)

If you enjoy character dining, I really recommend DLP’s offerings. My partner and I had some of our best character interactions ever there.

Lol oh god, it's like the tackiness of DCA's cheap pier rides mixed with their hollywood backstage section. This is pretty bad. This is like cedar point levels of theming. The Walt statue just makes it all worse, like a final insult.

It doesn’t look as bad in real life.

Does DCA have issues? Sure, frankly most parks do. Can we argue about what year it was better, or what land needs work, or this and that? Sure.

Are you a bunch of spoiled brats that have this in your backyard to go and enjoy anytime you please?

Meanwhile I am stuck with this as my only option?

Yeah, you certainly are.

And I've been to Parc Walt Disney Studios.

DCA is better.
In my original quote about this I said it is like Disney is actively trying to make DCA their ugliest park, not the world's ugliest park. I'm talking about TWDC.

It’s themed to the collectors fortress, a building from a foreign planet, right next to a New York themed Avengers campus. (I think anyway, it feels like NY).
Nope, Avengers Campus is fully CA-based and no relationship to NY. It's a former Howard Stark car factory (and secret S.S.R. base - precursor to S.H.I.E.L.D.) that Tony retrofitted for the Avengers, Spider-Man et al. The Collector crashed the party next door. :D

The CA relationship is through California car culture (being right next to Cars Land also makes it a clever story choice) and it now being a tech campus which CA is filled with since so much manufacturing (especially aviation/aerospace - which also has a nod in the Easter Eggs on Campus) has left the state.

Why don’t you think it fits the rest of Avengers Campus?
It doesn't face the rest of the land, and if you're coming to Guardians from AC, you never approach the ride from head on. In fairness, it wasn't designed that way, because that building (and the land that now houses Avengers) originally served different purposes, but it always feels odd that what is ostensibly the signature ride of the place feels almost like it's turning away from the rest of the land.

That's about how I am with Star Tours. I came to the realization that there are certain things about Star Tours that are definitive Disney parks to me (particularly a few of the audio cues). Unfortunately, my body likes simulators less and less on every trip I take, so what used to be one of my favorite rides is now pretty much a one and done for me. So far everything else has been fine, and I imagine a regular diet of roller coasters has helped that to an extent. But I'm not even that old and I can already feel my body starting to age and become less tolerant.

Trust, Cedar Point is much nicer!

Debatable.
Just read there's also an Avenger's Campus in Studio Paris. Yikes. Surprised this disaster was deemed worthy of duplicating.
To make matters worse, they seem to have (by all accounts) ruined their Rock n' Roller Coaster in the effort to bring it into their AC, to the point where even Chapek wasn't happy with it and demanded changes.
