Good morning!! Just wanted to check in. Day 4 and my legs huts so much!!! I definitely didn't prepare myself for physical activity. Last night as we were getting back to the room we saw them wheeling in carts with Christmas decorations. They had the center of the lobby roped off for the tree. Looking forward to getting my lazy but up to go see!!

Awesome!
So is the tree up?

Cool...If I was there I probably would have stayed up all night watching them decorate.
Me too - I mean someone needs to tell them how, right?

I just like decorating for Christmas!

Plus it would be neat to see how they do put up that tree!
i would intentionally wake myself up just to watch. I love decorating my tree. I always tear up because of the memories associated with different ornaments.

So do I. I have a few that belonged to my parents, and one that belonged to my grandparents. I actually have a box of very retro 60s ornaments that my daughter asked me to save for her. I've seen replicas in stores.

We've bought the kids each an ornament every year signifying something significant in their lives that year. Now that they're both out of the house, we figured that they would take their boxes with them for their own trees, but they actually both prefer to put "select" ornaments on our tree. I kind of love that actually....

Quick update: yes - the tree is up. If I weren't so tired I would have watched. If was awesome opening he door and seeing it straight ahead, all lit up. Wish I could post pics!!!

Haven't read the forums so I'm sure it's been posted but the past 2 nights FLE was open in the evening when MK was open til 1. The wait for Belle was 45 mi tues so we didn't wait but rode LM once each might. It was awesome!!

On the line for TSMM - my husband has a bar code scanner on his phone so I had him scan the code on the giant tinker toy set and it scanned as "tinker toy". Now that's Disney attention to detail at it's finest!!!!

Spring seems to be a more abrupt weather change.
We used to have a season known as Spring back in the days of my youth.

Now, the transition from winter to summer goes someting like: "Dang it's cold outside, I need to wear my heavy coa...it's 90-degrees already?!"

Note to self: Save some snowballs for Saget this winter!

Somewhere, there is a thread where I talk about celebrating my children's birthdays. I go on a rant about how I have to do all the work for their parties - just like on the day they were born. I should be the one getting a party, cake , etc. not them. :p

At least my daughter sends me a thank you note every year now that she's a "grown-up."

Since they're both out of the nest now, I either cook or take them out to dinner with just the 6 of us, not necessarily on their exact birthdays. Then I remind them about the endless hours of labor I went through to bring them into this world, and they get all teary-eyed.

I had a 4 hr each way drive this weekend, so was listening to an audio book. It had a zombie stuffed bear, and a murder in Providence. Wonder why I thought about you guys? :D
