Holy cow - I can't believe you posted that today!! A TORNADO touched down on Long Island less than 15 miles from my house. I still can't believe it. We don't GET those around here.


Oh and by the way - went to get Rita's today and it was CLOSED DOWN. Not sure when that happened but I was SOOOO looking forward to trying mango and now I don't know WHEN I will!!!!!!

I knew about the weather, hence the comical spin on current events. I was at Rita's about half an hour ago. I purchased an orange cream custard mix. Not as good as it looked, but you don't know if you don't try.

I'm so naive - I truly thought it was a coincidence. *places dunce cap on head*

I don't even think there are any other Rita's near me - had to settle for Carvel. It was good - but not what I was craving!!

Where did the tornado touch down? We haven't heard from our son (nothing new actually), but it would be nice to ask him if he survived it.

It actually was a mouthful of glass from a broken machine part. If we were more unscrupulous, we'd be a lot richer today!

I think that the glass would taste better with chocolate, as opposed to vanilla. I think that I'll gather some kids from the neighborhood and serve up a little survey tomorrow. I love the young people.
