Clearly I'm a slow learner!!

I'm so tired I was reading another thread, saw an alert and thought it was a random "like" because I didn't remember posting anything...

OK - definitely time for bed. Taking the kiddies to Splish Splash water park tomorrow (20 minutes from my house and I've NEVER been) so it's going to be an exhausting (but fun!!) day! It's so weird - we've been to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon and I just throw a few things in a backpack and off we go! I'm totally stressing over what to bring and scared that I'm going to forget something. I'm just not in "vacation" mode, I guess!

Your yard is gorgeous - don't see yards like that up here! If you do it's the front yard and the the street is flooded...

My cousin used to live in a house in Tampa that was on a canal - I always thought it was soooo cool.
Thanks. We have been blessed, and we have been quite happy here.

We had an old amusement park with rickety rides about 10 minutes from here when our daughter was little. We took her exactly once and drove all around the state first so she wouldn't know she lived that close to it.

Brilliant!!

It's supposedly really nice there (according to my friends who have been) but they are CLEARLY unaware that I have insanely high standards when it comes to the quality of my theme parks!

I don't mind water parks, it's the people there that bother me..... well that and the fact that you never see anyone in the restrooms....

Don't forget the sunblock!

I KNOW. My list is towels, sunblock, tickets, water shoes, water (they let u bring in bottled water but no coolers - I have bottles in the freezer), quarters for the lockers and extra towels to leave in the car to sit on for the ride home. Oh - and my Key to the World Card -err- I mean Disney Visa. :D

Sounds like you've got it all covered. Was it insanely humid down your way today? It was here, but down at the beach it wasn't as bad.

Yup - it was almost hard to breathe if you were outside (or in my house). We ate at my mother in laws and immersed ourselves in the a/c. It supposed to be 90 and just as humid here tomorrow until the storms roll in tomorrow night. Hoping the water park will provide some relief!
