It's Official, the Meet will be held in Dec. I know many of you will be there for the first 2 weeks and I suggest that we use the MVMCP as our main "Meet" location. We will have 2 "Meets" at the party with one being on either wed. or thurs. of the first week and on Mon. or Tues. of the second week. Just as soon as they announce the dates, we can firm this up. I strongly suggest not doing the party on the weekend because of the crowds.

I will need suggestion from all of you for other meeting places, dining suggestions if everyone would like to meet somewhere for a meal and any other ideas that you can come up with. And if anyone would like to volunteer to help out please either PM or e-mail me.

I will also need everyone who will be going to pm me with your dates and your e-mail address so that you can be contacted with important information for the Meet. It is a good idea if you would also add to this thread by telling me that you are going. If you would rather keep it private, than please PM or e-mail me with your information.

MainStreetUSA (Zac) has graciously agreed to make shirts for the affair. Thank you Zac!!
I will need everyones input on the shirts.

Please indicate in your responses on here if you would like them to be:
Long/Short Sleeve
Specific Color
A specific saying/wording

Please keep in mind that they will have WDWMagic.com Official Meet Dec. 2003 on them. And we are not allowed to have disney characters on them.

Zac will have a thread up where you can vote on the shirts that he will design. You will then order your shirts directly from him by PM. Please make sure that you include all of your information for him including size, name, address etc.

The cost for the shirts will run approx. $25 a piece. This will cover the cost of shipping also.

HI all I just finish booking my trip on DEC 7-13 I will be at the
Grosvenor Hotel just for the Room was 480.00 Dollars I have
a 10% Discount card I must buy my own Disney tickets on Disney
World.com the tickets are a good price.

Hi Everyone! I am getting information sent to me from WDW about different meeting places where we can all get together. They are also going to be contacting me about the Dessert party. I should be able to start adding things to the "Meet" soon. So keep tuned!

HI all if you don't have a Park Pass in your package it is cheaper
to go to the Disney store to get your Pass for a 5-Day Park
Hopper its $217.00+Tax 4-Day $192.00.
Park Hopper Plus is 7-Day$ 307.00 6-Day$ 277.00 5-Day $247.00.
so if some one knows a cheaper Ticket Please tell me:)

As of right now we have a few things in the works. We are going to do 2 meets at the MVMCP. One at the end of week one and one in the beginning of week 2. That way, those who are just going for a long weekend will be able to attend. We will be adding more things to it as we go along. As far as age goes, there are quite a few people on the forums that are around your age. We are still in the early planning stages, so I am expecting more people will join us as it gets closer.

Keep an eye on this thread for updates.

Hi Belle! How are we doing with the numbers? I hope some of the people coming for just the day have contacted you. I will need a certain amount of people attending in order to set the dessert party up.

Hey there everyone, Please try to get in the number of people you anticipate being in your group. This will help us to be able to set up the dessert party and any other Meets that can be arranged. And all those who are going to be joining us for the day, as you live nearby or are a CM....please add you name to the list. I personally would prefer a meeting spot other than MVMCP...Miss Belle knows why! :lol:

Hey there Cymbal!!! Long time no see. Anyhow, we are definitely doing the Meets at the MVMCP, however Pam has come up with an absolutely awesome idea of a dessert party. Basically we are going to be given a small area within either World Showcase of the Fantasmic! arena, and Disney will be setting up a dessert buffet for us to graze on while we watch the Fireworks!! Sounds pretty awesome huh?? Pam shared some of the menus with me and it looks amazing. I am more in favor of the Fantasmic one, but we are going to be putting up a posting to let all the people who are going have some say too. Two small points on this idea though , Pam has to confirm this with Disney so we will need to know who is going, as we need a minimum of 50 people I think she had said, AND we will have to have paid for it BEFORE she signs the contract with Disney. We will be posting all the arrangements so everyone can follow along. Belle

Depending on the time frame for the 1st week's meet it will just be me and my husband. He is aware that I am trying to stretch to make the meet and agreed to another day or two. Lets hope all falls into that time. I would love to meet everyone!

High end for the Fantasmic one is about $21.00 per person, High end for the Illuminations one was closer to $27 per person. As I said I know Pam was going to be putting up more of the details so we can all have a voice in this. Hope this helps! Belle

oh oh oh neat idea! I can be there then and there will probably be 2-3 people in my party.

Oh and Pam or Belle if there is anything I can do to help organize please let me know! Maybe there is something I can do since I am local down here in Florida. I love planning these sorts of things.

.....and don't forget that the t-shirts are still in the works. Once I post the examples and the poll to decide which design we want, I'll be accepting PM's with the folowing info:

Quantity
Size(s)
Address (so that I can send you your shirt(s))
How you will be paying

Unfortunately, I'm not rich enough to front the money, so I will need payment before I make the shirts. As of right now, the price remains around 24 - 25 bucks, which includes shipping. Hopefully, this will come down a hair.

Hopefully, I'll have the designs up within the week, one cartoonish, one classy, and one that I have no clue what it will look like.
