**Official "Celebration 25 Memories DVD" information thread**

I'm going to purchase extra copies of our DVD for Jim Macphee, Marty Sklar, Charlie Ridgway, Dave Smith and Meg Crofton... Considering the scrapbook is going to be a little bit more steep in price, I probably won't be able to afford that many gifts. If anyone wants to pool some more money together for scrapbooks specifically for Mr. Macphee and Mr. Sklar, that would be appropriate. I am going to be compiling some information for everyone so that we can send in some thank you letters to those who played a part in our event.

As of right now, the list includes:

Jim Macphee
Marty Sklar
Dave Smith
Meg Crofton
Brent (Sunday's Disney official for our group)
Heather (Monday's Disney official for our group)
Christie Simpson (our official dessert party and event planner)

Am I forgetting anyone?

Seriously, I would like to express my thanks to Jim MacPhee and make sure that Meg Crofton knows how much he is appreciated by C25.

Might also be nice to give a copy each to the 2 cast members who escorted and stayed with us during the 2 days. Not sure how we can do that, though unless someone has their full names and location.

I believe that's the Brent and Heather he's referring to.

We cant forget Eugene!!! He heard about our event and volunteered to work it specifically so he could hang with our group!!!! Eugene ROCKS!!! Belle

1) Video is AWESOME!!! Woo hoo!! Can't wait to see the rest.

2) Did we get extra money from the dessert party? Seemed to me like we had agreed just to add that to the charity. Could we take $$ out of that for books for Jim M and other special folks? I know I wouldn't mind.

You could raise the cost of the book just a bit to cover the extras. I'd be glad to pay $3-5 more. If it's $47, just round up. (Or maybe the book sales are through LuLu and no way to add extra??)

Same for the DVD. I think $10 is much less that I was expecting to pay. YOu could charge $15 there and use the difference for the gift books.

Adam I could put some in for extras for Jim,Marty,Eugene,ect. So as soon as things get finished & costs get set I can let let you how much extra I can do. I am thinking at the least an extra set. (book/dvd)

Matt a wonderful job I am sure when others submit footage & its all done this will be the ultimate dvd. We might need to do a two disc special edition even with bonus footage. ;)

Also Matt I would like to record a message for the dvd of my feelings on the event but don't have a camcorder. My options are cut to webcam or the video option on my camra. So if you can work with something like avi format I would love to record something for the dvd.

OK, so this isn't as good as Matt's, but this is my compilation of the video footage that Chuck (Zinger) and I shot during the anniversary. Unfortunately, we didn't get any of the anniversary tag fireworks due to the rain, so this is all we had.

And apologies to Camille Saint-Saens for butchering his masterpiece.

Hey all! We`re home!!

This is one video I`m looking forward to as an outsider for a change :lol:

I`ve only checked the C25 25 evening footage so far (first thing I did after dropping the cases on the lounge floor!) but reakon I can donate

Various morning clips
The 1st rope drop from MouseGears doorway (right place, right time)
The re dedication (probably the umpteenth version you`ll have, though I did get the fireworks with my wide angle lens)
Some GVs of the exhibition (and I`ve JPEGs of every bit of art, of course!)
The deluge from the Mexico Friendship loading ramp
The march to Italy
Italy GVs
The 25th tag (wide angle)
Jims thanks on the Isola
Bits of the prom with 3rd shift and Magic Journeys playing at full blast (wow)
Burn off
The grand march out. With audio. :lol:
And of course I had to get the CM telling me I was the last guest out of the park on the 1st :D

I`ll be sending the footage to a few others for their projects, and of cousre will have my own edit, but as I said on the day you`re welcome to have it for the DVD. Matt, I`ll PM you with details once I know for sure what I have :wave:

The editor in me wants to cut it all down to an hour, but that has the dispute with the fan in me who wants to see it all... not to worry, I am going to have others give thoughts and opinions on the final edit so it has a good balance.

Also, you could record your message with your camera, but it most likely wont be the proper size (dimensions) or frame rate for DVD. That doesn't mean it couldn't be included, but that it may not be great overall quality.

I Know, I got in there too, as a matter of fact, in my preview clip, I am shooting back towards the crowd, and you are right in the front shooting forward!

You could always do what the rest of the studios do. Cut it down to an hour and then 6 months later release the C25 Extended Directors Cut.:lol:

Thanks for this tease. I can't wait to see the final DVD from everyone's contributions. Thanks to you and Matt and Martin for capturing the moments.
