This is the very 1st preview of video from Celebration 25.
This is only footage I personally shot, no submissions added yet, and was made rather quickly just to get a preview out here in cyberspace.
Enjoy!

that was GREAT! Can't wait to see it all! As a bonus feature you need to have the lines for merch and Imagination playing at normal speed! I spotted me a few times!

Truly great Matt! I knew your work would be amazing (after all, you are a professional)! I'm glad you got the footage of the CM changing the JIIwF wait time sign... I can't believe we bumped it up to 30 minutes- an alltime high! :D Oh, and my parents love the preview as well!

I look forward to seeing everyone else's footage incorperated into this DVD, and I can't wait until it is release! I believe Mr. Pezzula deserves a great round of applause! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

OK, am I the only one who had goosebumps and a bit emotional watching the video? Adam said it accurately in the video, that 8 months ago, we didn't think that we would get anything.

I can't wait for the DVD!

If the final video is anywhere nearly as good as that preview is I'll definitely be ordering one, especially since I wasn't able to make it to the event on my own.

Total newb to video recording here. I have about 4G's of video that I took with my digital video camera on asf format. I do, however, have a nice video conversion program. The only problem is that it gives me 4 different choices for converting to NTSC-DVD. Is there a specific quality that you require? Also, when you say to send it to you on DVD, do you mean the files themselves on the DVD or the video burnt right on to the DVD (i.e. you can pop it right into any DVD player and watch the video)?

Feel free to pm me with any instructions/advice. I just usually convert anything I tape straight to my Ipod or PSP.

Thanks in advance!

Asf, not good.

NTSC-DVD (high quality) for watching on a player...

or just the files on a dvd if they will fit.

Not to be confusing... but either is ok, pending the files on the dvd-rom are avi, mov, mpg, m2v.

Hey there Matt...

Just saw your video teaser. It took about an hour for me to load it via YouTube ( i have dial-up....) but it was well worth the wait.

VERY nice job! I love the angles you captured, such as the Guests receiving their buttons at the turnstiles, the HUGE line to buy merch, and of course the Cm changing the JII sign to read "30 min" wait time!

Awesome. I am indeed looking forward to seeing the end result!

I think it would be nice to send a copy of this DVD and the forthcoming Scrapbook to Jim MacPhee. I think of all people involved, he should have these in his collection.

Goosebumps...

what a great preview! I wasn't there for Sunday, so I enjoyed seeing snippets of the History Walk...I was there for the re-dedication (lucked out and got first row, on the MouseGear side), sans video camera, so it's wonderful to see it again.

Put me down for one!

Agreed. Maybe a few of us can pitch in on the cost of Jim's book. If I were having them printed locally it'd be one thing. But getting LuLu involved means I have no "discount buddy" to get a freebie. Heck, I believe will even have to buy a copy just to "proof it" before they allow it to be sold.
