Oddest thing you pack?

Yep, I pack the Lysol wipes too - I guess it's not that odd after all?!
And I don't know if this is odd or not but I pack glow sticks. My kids use them in the parks and it keeps them from asking for all those other glow products that Disney sells and then we use them as a nightlight when we get back to the hotel for the night.

My friends and I pack glow sticks also. We go to the dollar store and they sell like 15 glowsticks for $1. So we pack those and we have them for the night time events and when we have a few extras we give them to the kids around us. It is better than the the amount disney charges!

We do this too, caught some on sale after the 4th for .20 each! Much better to buy at home

I am also packing a corkscrew this time so I do not have to get the resort bar to open the bottles of wine I buy in the resort gift shop. I like to make spritzers in my refillable cups with wine and sprite. It got expensive buying those tiny bottles.:D

Dateline did a show talking about how many germs are all over hotel rooms. They mentioned the light switches, door knobs, remote control (had the most germs, I believe), ect. They also used a black light on the bedspreads, which is why I take them off first thing in any hotel room. The show came on several years ago.

*reminds self to get Clorox wipes* I have never thought of this but the idea of all the germs gives me the shivers. :hammer:

May be a co- winky -... but the sickest I have ever been was going with DH to a convention out of town where I forgot the wipes and spray.. got the worst stomach flu ever. Doctors thought I probably picked it up from light switches/ remote as I was in the room the majority of the time. :hurl:

I keep rolls of Gaff and Spike tape in my car. You can take the girl out of the theatre, but you can't take the theatre out of the girl :)

So, these Clorox wipes (I'm from the UK) are they just antibacterial wipes? The cleaning sort? We can also get antibacterial wipes for children's hands - these would do the same thing wouldn't they?

You've all got me thinking! I'm starting to worry about germs.

The thing I always wash, immediately, are the glasses in the bathrooms. I watched a show once, and it showed the cleaner in the bathroom wipe the floor, toilet etc with an old towel, and then polish the glasses with it :hurl:

:sohappy: Im not the only one in the world who cant sleep without a fan:sohappy:
I finally feel not so alone now:wave:

Me neither! I have to have some white noise of some type to sleep! Even at home....I live out in the country and it is too quiet here for me! I don't always bring a fan, but I have been known to run the A/C on high for the noise and woke up in the morning with icicles on my nose!

I always bring benadryl itch sticks

We always bring those too!!! In fact, I have one in the car, one in my purse, 2 in the house, my husband has one at work (mosquitoes love him!). My nephew got stung by a bee and we put that on it and it didn't swell and the pain went away almost immediately. Benadryl sticks ROCK!

The Clorox wipes are not meant for the hands, (hard surfaces) make sure the ones that you use for hands are regular hand wipes (antibacterial)

yeah if you use the clorox wipes on your kids hands it'll dry them out really bad, trust me I use them to clean my bathroom and my hands are horrible afterwards...
I don't usually bring anything that odd, this time we did pack a suitcase full of alcohol and wrap all the bottles in towels b/c my friend was worried the bell boys would steal the liquor. Yeah that's my answer to the foot massager....:drevil:

Works for me. Hence my earlier post for the corkscrew to open the wine. My answer to being relaxed at WDW.:D

Oops! I forgot- we bring our own fitted sheets. As DVC members- they don't clean/make beds daily. (unless you pay extra) My hubby and I got tired of making the bed every day with the flat sheets they use. We just cover them with our own fitted sheets. I'd rather trust my own anyway.

Plus- I can't live without my Tide pen.... Nah-nah- nah- nah-
Nah-nah-nah-nah Hey- Goodbye!

This may not be too weird but I always bring my pillow and my purple/blue/black fleese balnket. I ever bring the blanket during the summer. I mainly use it for the car trip (boyfriend loves to crank the a/c) but sometimes I'll use it in the room.
