And to be fair, Disney always said Spring 2016 until now. It's not really hard to follow. The project fell behind schedule. See also every new development at Disney Springs...still waiting on 2015's opening of STK Orlando!
Eh, that's slightly different.

We all knew STK was being overly ambitious when they stated a 2015 opening and work hadn't even begun until about May or June. It'll be close to 2 years by the time Frozen opens and it's using the existing ride track from before!

that is like comparing apples to rocks... different contractors, different construction processes, different paymaster...

Perhaps it has already been stated here, but don't you think the opening is dependent not only on the changes to the former Maelstrom boat ride but the completion of the new buildings that will be part of the Norway pavilion?

unless Iger wants to have a huge presentation (aka an announcement of an announcement of a possible soon to open ride) like they did with the 7dmt ?
That would not require the projects to actually be finished at the same time. The attraction could have a prolonged soft opening.

Do you think that since the ride and queue area are inside that the construction walls will be taken down possibly in the next few months before the ride is open or do you think they will keep them up until June or when it opens?
