Trip Report No Bug Movie...promise! *COMPLETED*

It is with great excitement I sit here in the Atlanta airport, Disney bound with my middle child. While this is my 5th WDW trip this year (I *may* have an addiction problem...) my DS (henceforth known as Drumr) has not been to the world in 3 years...before MagicBands! Don't feel too sorry for him...his first trip was at age 2 and he has been numerous times since. (Warning to parents of young kids...be careful what traditions you start!)

After being on our feet for over 12 hours (and the fact that our shoes/socks were still soggy), we opted not to stay for Illuminations. We stopped in the food court upon arriving back at All Star Sports and it was complete chaos in there at 9:15 pm!

Only one more day...

Yea! More great piccies!!

I was surprised to hear about Pirates. I haven't been on that for maybe 4-5 years (queue lines were too long and it was too hot). Don't recall anything about getting soaked with water, though. I'm wondering if this is something more recent in the past few years or so. Don't see the point in it; it makes sense on Splash Mountain, but not so much on Pirates.

So happy to hear that your memories from years past are figuring into this trip, and that you're enjoying everything so much! :joyfull:

Bummer about the flash photography in HM. There's always one person who can wreck the experience for so many others. And it has nothing to do with a language barrier; it's just common sense and a polite gesture to others to NOT use flash in a DARK RIDE!!! :banghead:
We have fastpasses for Pirates today, and are debating whether or not to keep them. We both feel we've already gotten wet enough this vacation!

We also have fastpasses for Haunted Mansion, and Drumr said we ARE keeping those, to make up for the flash experience of the other day. ;)

Thanks for tagging along!

It must be, haha! I don't usually exist on only 5-6 hours of sleep a night, especially five days in a row. I sense that the crash will be coming when I get home...

Glad you're reading along and I promise to return the favor .
It's keeping me going! And you will probably be in Disney when I am there as you've been so much since I was there last year! Enjoy your day. I will be following along - it will ease my Monday blues :(

The food looks really good!! I've been salivating here looking at all the photos! YUM!! :hungry:

Just one more day--dang, the time flies when you're down there, doesn't it? I'm happy that you're going to HM again and this time, I think the experience will be better without Mr. Flash Camera destroying the mood. Glad to hear that Drumr is also having a great time, as that must also increase your own enjoyment of the trip.

Too bad about the rain, but it does seem that every time I'm down there, it always rains, too. (At least it lets up within less than an hour, usually.) In the afternoons I usually only wear sandals, as I learned my lesson years ago not to wear sneakers and socks--no fun when they get soaked in those tropical downpours!

I'm really liking the pictures of your resort as I've never been there. Looks like a fun place!

Enjoy your last day and thanks for letting us tag along. :) Safe travels home, too.

The food this trip has been exceptional :hungry:. We haven't had a single bad meal.

I always say the first couple of Disney days seem to go at normal speed, but once the halfway point arrives the days just fly! Thankful we have 10 more hours before boarding the tragical express.

I have experienced way more rain at Disney than this past week. @TrolleyFollower91 and I survived Tropical Storm Andrea! So really this time it hasn't been too bad.

Thank you for all your kind comments.
