Trip Report No Bug Movie...promise! *COMPLETED*

It is with great excitement I sit here in the Atlanta airport, Disney bound with my middle child. While this is my 5th WDW trip this year (I *may* have an addiction problem...) my DS (henceforth known as Drumr) has not been to the world in 3 years...before MagicBands! Don't feel too sorry for him...his first trip was at age 2 and he has been numerous times since. (Warning to parents of young kids...be careful what traditions you start!)

After our safari, we walked the Pangani Trail. Due to the level of the sun, I was unable to take pics of the monkeys, gorillas and birds (and some really cool nests...a giant one, surrounded by over a dozen smaller ones.)

The silverback was in the shade and willing to pose for me:

We have reached the part of the trip report where the title finally makes sense :). We visited AK a few months after its grand opening. We had no idea what to expect. The Tree of Life was beautiful and intriguing and we excitedly got in the queue for the attraction inside. "A Bug's Life" had not yet been released in theaters, so the characters were unfamiliar.

We thought we would see a gentle, quaint movie...otherwise I would never have taken my bug-squeamish children. Halfway through the show, Drumr stands up and bellows, "GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!"

This was before guests were allowed to leave the theater during the performance. Drumr and I stood off to the side and I told him to close his eyes for the duration.

He has never been back inside. And a mom always keeps her promises.
