Maybe not as well as last season, but still at an elite level. 107.3 QB rating, 27 touchdown passes compared to 6 interceptions. Sure the yardage hasn't been what it was last year, but he's playing without Greg Jennings, Cedric Benson, Bryan Bulaga. Not to mention all of the other offensive players that have been injured over the last weeks. If Crosby would've made his two field goals, the Packers would've scored 30 points and nobody would've questioned the win. Still a force to be reckoned with. May be a bit biased, but that's the way I see it.

On a seperate note, Ed Reed has been suspended a week for hits.

Yeah, I agree, he's had lots of injuries to deal with, but he's still got A LOT more talent to work with than many other QB's. His completion ratio, in many games, has been pretty low, which is the most surprising thing. Or maybe it's just a Fantasy thing. He's been giving my boss fits at work as of late.:D

For the Falcons, the future is now! Next year we will be without Tony G and most likely Michael Turner. If Julio can stay healthy, we at least have a chance to outscore our opponents.

Thanks for still considering the Bears to be in some sort of play off scenario...I wanted to crawl into a hole Monday night...I was embarrassed for them! 9ers played a great game, we however, forgot to show up.

The main reason why the Cowboys lost the game on 11-25-1993 was because they did not play good enough to win the game. It was not because of the snow or Leon Lett. They lost as a team. Yes Leon Lett did make a mistake at the end of the game, but that was not the only mistake that the Cowboys made. If the Cowboys could have played better that day it might not would have come down to that play at the end of the game. The Cowboys did win the Super Bowl that year and they were the best team that year. But even the best team can have a bad game and that is what happend on that day.

Could get interesting for you fellas...hope you don't have a repeat of last year when Cutler went down.

I will be pulling for the Saints (blasphemy in these parts) to beat the 9ers as well as NYG to beat the Pack. That would give the Falcons a bit more cushion for the #1 seed. I expect a loss this weekend at Tampa.

Wildcard could be blown wide open with wins by Minnesota and Dallas.

The Lions-Texans game was some game! Lions had so many chances to win, but couldn't capitalize

The Lions might have won if that one call would've gone the right way. But I agree with the outcome since Jim Schwartz threw the challenge flag, it's not reviewable. Overall I'm glad that the Texans won.

Cowboys getting crushed by the Redskins. Well at least there's the 8:30 game.
Off topic, but Lions playoff chances are gone

Dallas is back to within 14, with just under 10:00 mins left. Just intercepted and are deep in Washington territory (play under review).

If Dallas does not win this game, they will have a better chance winning the division than getting a wildcard.

NFC looking like this:
1) South - Atlanta
2) West - San Fran
3) North - Green Bay
4) East- NYG

WildCard (Current seeds)
5) Chicago - can they hold on if Cutler is out
6) Seattle
7) Tampa
8) Minn
9) New Orleans

I expect Tampa to be one wildcard, if Cutler is back soon, Chicago the other.

**Edit** Dallas did lose and now must be pullin for Green Bay this weekend!! **End**

Patriots score 49 points without Gronkowski. Texans barely survive another OT game against a sub-par team. Records aside, here's how I think the AFC is shaping up right now:

1.Pats
2.Broncos
3.Texans
4.Ravens
5.Colts
6.Bengals

Obvious bias as usual since I'm a Pats fan, but this season is looking REALLY good. The 3 games they lost was by a total of 4 points. Their defense is starting to play much better. And their offense is pretty much unstoppable right now. Before Ridley and the running game got going it was good. Now, it just adds another whole dimension to their game. As for Brady, his targets are just too many: Welker, Hernandez, Lloyd, Edelmen and Gronk will be back for the Playoffs.

Definately not praising the Lions here, but they are a much better team than their record indicates. The only thing keeping them from the playoffs is their coaching staff. Schwartz is a hot-headed coach who doesn't care if people play dirty or get in trouble off the field. The result of that is penalties, suspensions, and a terrible mentality. Replace Schwartz with a coach like Mike Tomlin, Mike McCarthy, Bill Belichick, or either of the Harbaughs and they are a real threat.

Do not misinterpret this comment as sarcastic or cynical, because it is not meant to be.

It is nice to see the other one loss team is not respected as the best team in its conference. Being an Atlanta Homer, I didn't understand the extreme love for Houston while Atlanta is/was seen as a decent playoff team, but not elite.
Atlanta has earned everyone’s skepticism over the last few playoff folds, but what has Houston done in the playoffs? 1 win without Shaub? Is that enough to become elite?
And…..people always fall for Peyton Manning; I don’t buy it.

On another note, Atlanta, Chicago, Green Bay, and Houston have all squeaked by sub-par teams this year. I’ll take a win every day!!!

And finally, my list, in order, of the best teams in the league:

1) Green Bay
2) New England
3) San Fran
4) Houston
5) Denver
6) Baltimore
7) Atlanta (If Chicago without Cutler)
8) Chicago (Flip with Atlanta with Cutler)
9) Tampa/N.O./NYG/Pitt/Seattle
