I am currently suffering from 2011 Cutler deja vu. I am hoping our back up situation works out better than it did last season. We need to keep it on the ground and run, run, run on Monday night against the 49ers, IMO and hopefully our defense will make things tough and get a take away or two.

On another note...wishing my much loved Coach Ditka well after suffering a minor stroke on Friday.

I though this was a New Fantasy Land (NFL) thread, but it's some other strange fantasy where men in padded suits play with big balls and pat each other on the behinds. Is this a flash back to CM nights at mannequins on pleasure island in the 80's?

What I have learned from the early slate of games...
-Greg Schiano can coach in the NFL
-Blaine Gabbert isnt the way to go in Jacksonville
-The rookie on the Cardinals Lindley is just as good (or should I say bad?) as Kolb and Skelton
-Lions playoff chances are dead
-Chiefs are one of the worst NFL teams in years
-Sanchez>Tebow....by a lot
-RG3 will be an elite quarterback by the end of next season
-Brandon Weeden is not the answer
-The Cowboys cant win a super bowl with their current roster and coaching staff

Things I've learned so far this week:

- Miami's playoff hopes have disappeared
- Arizona always finds a way to lose
- Matt Ryan is out of the MVP race
- Tampa Bay has a very good chance at the playoffs
- Dallas is in the Wild Card race, but if they do get to the playoffs, they'll lose right away
- Mason Crosby is bad
- Matthew Stafford is not accurate
- Chad Henne should be the starter for Jacksonville
- Houston will probably be considered the best team in the league after this week still
- The Bengals are in the race for the playoffs
- Chiefs are still the worst in the league
- The Rams still are not good
- Andy Reid will not be back with Philly next year

Hate to focus on the NFC South here, but here we go.

Atlanta is @ Tampa next Sunday, followed by a date with N.O. in the Dome Thursday the 29th, and then on the road @ Carolina. Don't see a gimme anywhere in there. Carolina just can't finish games, otherwise they are scary.

Don't see the #1 seed or a first round bye as a sure thing. It would be tough not to win the division.

The Texans ARE the best team in the league, Green Bay is the best in the NFC.

The Cowboys did not have that good of a game today and they have a lot to work on and I mean a lot to work on. But the thing is they did find a way to win and it's hard to win in the NFL. So I am happy that we won and I will enjoy this win for now. Before this game I was thinking this might be a close game and I was saying this is not going to be a for sure win. We are now 5-5 and that is better than being 4-6 (or 4-5-1). In 4 more days we are going to have a big game and there is no way I am going to say that this game coming up is even close to being a for sure win for the Cowboys.

I might be a bit biased, but I can see Green Bay winning the NFC. They can win the remainder of their games (@ NYG, vs MIN, vs DET, @ CHI, vs TEN, @ MIN). I can also see the Falcons winning too. The remaining schedule after this week for Chicago is vs MIN, vs SEA, @ MIN, vs GB, @ ARI, vs DET. I think the NFC North will all come down to the Dec. 16th game between Green Bay and Chicago. And whoever wins that game will be battling with Atlanta for the first seed in the playoffs.

I think it's a given that Houston will be the #1 seed for the AFC.

I wanna turn on the TV for once...just once this season, and see Atlanta running over a team along the lines of 27-3 or 33-7...something besides these close-call finishes. While it may help your regular season record, these 2-min warning TD's don't usually go as well against playoff teams.

I aint buying Atlamta.... Sorry. But you know what ? Sometimes it is better to be lucky then good. Today the Falcons were lucky.

Tonights the night...Its Steelers vs Ravens. Sure it dosnt have the history of Bears vs Packers. But what it does have is two of the hardest hitting teams in the league. Throw the records out....this is always a slobber knocker.
SInce Pig Pen...uhhhhh Big Ben went down the point spread has shifted 7 pts. 3,5 Pitt to 3.5 Baltimore. Me? I wouldnt touch this game with a ten ft pole. Nope....Does Pitts "D" rally around the team and stop Bmores offense...Does Pitt get the running game going that the Ravens have had problems with at times this year? WHat Flacco do we see tonight? Last weeks or one that wouldnt know a screen pass from a screen door? One thing for certian....there will be some nasty hits.

My thoughts from this week:

-The Pats played so well no one would have beat them. Now with Gronk out, that all changes.
-The Texans aren't as good as their record.
-Kansas City needs to be removed from the league.
-Dallas has the talent, just not the coaching.
-Aaron Rodgers isn't playing nearly as well as he did last season.
-Manning and Brady are so far above every other QB in the NFL.
-Phillip Rivers still sucks.
-This was the best the Giants have looked in 3 weeks.
-If CJ Spiller and Marcel Reece were being used more by the Bills and Raiders, both teams would be in the Playoff picture.

Maybe not as well as last season, but still at an elite level. 107.3 QB rating, 27 touchdown passes compared to 6 interceptions. Sure the yardage hasn't been what it was last year, but he's playing without Greg Jennings, Cedric Benson, Bryan Bulaga. Not to mention all of the other offensive players that have been injured over the last weeks. If Crosby would've made his two field goals, the Packers would've scored 30 points and nobody would've questioned the win. Still a force to be reckoned with. May be a bit biased, but that's the way I see it.

On a seperate note, Ed Reed has been suspended a week for hits.

My team is the New England Patriots, gotta stick with the hometown team! Even with Gronk and Chandler Jones hurt, I still see them running the table and winning the big one!
