Now the Bears and Texans. Both teams only have one loss. The one loss has come from the Packers for both teams. That tells you something.

Which of these playoff teams would you have Atlanta favored (at home):

1) Chicago
2) Green Bay
3) San Fran (St Louis just took the lead)
4) N Y Giants
5) N.O, Tampa, Seattle, Minnesota (Or whoever # 6 might be)

Not 1-4
Probably a team like Seattle or Minnesota would give Atlanta their best shot at winning a playoff match. They're not quite up to the level to compete with teams like Chi, GB, SF, NO, & NYG in the playoffs. Tampa, we *might* be able to pull it off, but I'd prefer Atlanta to play Sea, Minn, or the #6 & finally get a playoff win under Matt Ryan's belt.

I really didn't care who won the SF v STL game...I was only watching to hope Gore and Amendola got me some fantasy points.

But I really think STL got screwed. 3 times. The Amendola 80 yard catch that had a bad line up? 2 delay of game calls? Re-spotting the ball and costing them 11 seconds? Home field advantage indeed.

I am happy that the Cowboys won and the Giants lost. The Cowboys are now 4-5 and the Giants are 6-4. The Giants are off next week so if the Cowboys can beat Cleveland they will only be one game away from the Giants. Also since the Cowboys beat the Eagles they are now 2-1 in the division and the Giants are 2-2 in the division.

I think we can put to bed all the talk of the NFC dominating the league.

Giants lost to an AFC team.
Bears lost to an AFC team.
49ers couldn't beat a team that the Patriots whipped by 38 points just 2 weeks ago.
Falcons lost to the worst defense in the NFL.

Well, it doesn't seem like Andy Reid and Micheal Vick are going to stay with the Eagles much longer. Hey Giants fans, guess what?! Eli Manning actually threw for over 200 yards! Woohoo (sarcasm, sadly. It's officially a repeat of last year. Hopefully it will repeat through the entire year and end up winning it all again :))!

The formula seems to be being the team with the fewest wins in the NFC. Packers two years ago, Giants last year. Also when the Packers won the Super Bowl, they were a very injured team. Last year the Giants had quite a few injuries too. So, you have to be either a) the team from the NFC with the fewest wins or b) an injured team from the NFC or c) all of the above.

Sarcasm obviously.

Hopefully we get the #1 seed....stills looks like a good bet with Chicago, NY losing, and SF's tie. SF and Chicago head to head next week helps. We should right the ship this week with Arizona, and look for Carolina to upset Tampa as well.

Here's my call for the Playoffs:

AFC
1.Texans
2.Patriots
3.Ravens
4.Broncos
5.Colts
6.Steelers

NFC
1.Falcons
2.Packers
3.Bears
4.49ers
5.Giants
6.Seahawks

AFC is gonna be tight. Pats are 2 games behind the Texans right now, but they play each other in Foxboro. The Texans schedule other than that is pretty easy, though they do have to go into Indy and win. They've also got Minnesota and Indy at home, so they need to be careful. The Pats have Houston at home, Also have the 49ers. They've got the Dolphins twice, Jets, Jaguars and Colts. If the Texans and Pats end up with the same record (very possible), the winner of the game in Foxboro would get the #1 seed.

The Falcons schedule is getting tougher...only Arizona and Carolina appear to be easy, but Carolina is way better than their record indicates. We still have Tampa twice (home and home), New Orleans and NYG at the Dome, as well as Detriot at Ford field. If we can get by Arizona, we have a great chance of a first round bye....
