That all sounds wonderful, I cant wait to book to see Aerials clams, bit worried about the mobile app since it cost me £15 just turning my data on to get a football score. But its Disney itll be simply magical and worth it whatever the cost.

Disney provides free in park Wifi.

I'm starting to warm up to it and I think the majority of guests will as well. The regular "nay-sayers" of change will of course go off the deep end (as many already have) and rip the decision they don't agree with but as a whole I think it may work well if utilized properly.

There's a very good chance it will. It'll be made to work.
But where's the two billion the parks in Orlando also need?

For the folks saying that Disney wasted 2 billion dollars on this project: Did they really?
They are a business. They invested 2 billion dollars. They would not have done this if they didn't think it was going to bring in more than 2 billion dollars in some way, shape or form. It certainly won't be immediate which is where the short sited complaints are coming from. But over the next 5, 10, 15 years Disney will certainly recoup this investment exponentially. And for the record: I don't like what I hear of it currently. I like FP the way it is. I want to be able to buy APs. I don't want to reserve every aspect of my trip.

I cannot find a link to this but it was on Click Orlando channel 6 news this morning. It mentions that the bands will have a way to let you know when there is little to no wait times on favorite rides.

I have not seen any mention of this anywhere else. Any one know more about this?

I truly feel the days of the Florida pass and Annual pass are numbered.

They'll never discontinue them. Simply continue with the price hikes and diminishing perks. It'll take care of itself.

EDIT: Reading through the thread I see this is common knowledge. Silly me.

I have a hard time believing that this testing received "fantastic" reviews. Also, with all that information on one bracelet I'm not letting my young children wear that just so it could get lost in 2 seconds.

There is no actual data stored on the braclet, just an ID number.
