Again, the crux of the thread... the first post... Alicia and I have had a few heated discussions about this... hence, we're only concerend with NY and Chi-town...

But, Philly is the best Rocky city

I would still stay Chicago, even AFTER my little trip to the bad part of it, and almost getting killed. LOL :hammer:

All I know is the greatest day in Chicago Sports History...

George Bell for Sammy Sosa.

Second greatest day in Chicago Sports History...

The Second Selection of the First Round of the 1984 NBA Draft
Michael Jordan

Famous Chicago #23's...

Ryne Sandberg
Robin Ventura (damn lucky Yankee's, I'll give them that)
Shawn Gayle (Best CB in Chicago Bears History)
and of course MJ.

mmm that sounds good.

though my senerio is a bit different...

waking up at 8 am. walking about 7 blocks from my apt to the parking lots. cooking out from 9 am till right before gametime with family and friends. watching the bears play at memorial stadium....

bah. it needs to be the season now.

yeah, johnsonville brats aren't very good. the stuff from the butchers is the best. fresh and good! mmmmm.....

don't get me started. the only reason people think it is was a sox fan is because some idiot in the tribune (which owns the cubs) stated in his column that it was probably a sox fan. "no decent cubs fan would hurt the ivy". they claim it was weed killer or something like that. do you know how much weed killer a person would have to bring into the ballpark to kill that much of the ivy? it would not get past security, nor would this person be allowed to do it descreetly. the only way they could have done it is by making sure NO one was looking at them, poored A LOT of liquid down the side of the wall, and then placed the container somewhere so that it would not be seen.

no offense erika, but that is the type of crap that makes me sick of cubs fans and the tribune company alike.

LOL, sorry, I meant to put Dr Evil but I hit the angry man instead!!! I didn't even notice until you responsed.

Anyhow, I'm not a die-hard fan either way. I don't understand why people get so passionately anti-one or the other. The only reason I stopped going to Sox games is because I hate new Comisky.

Personally I'm not a horticulturist so I don't know what it takes to kill a stripe of ivy.
