New water-side restaurant 'Spice Road Table' coming to Epcot's Morocco Pavilion?

I am saddened by the idea of more buildings cluttering up the World Showcase, especially near Morrocco because it is my favorite pavilion.

It's not the last. There's another one they are looking to do. ... and it will clutter up the area just like the Hacienda (which I still haven't tried yet) does at Mexico.

It's also going to be more Med-inspired cuisine than Moroccan as folks don't exactly make beelines to get ressies at the current locale 180 days out. I've been told Tapas at real world moderate restaurant entree prices.

When they are done putting restaurants up against the water will there be any place left to view Illuminations without a FP+, dessert party or eating in one of those water view restaurants? It has been difficult enough with all the reserved VIP spots and adding the Mexico waterfront restaurant to find a scrap of land to view illuminations, it is going to be like Fantasmic, need to waste several touring hours to guarantee a spot to view the show. How annoying.

That bright light on the right side of the picture is construction crews putting up the wall tonight. I'm told its where the current M&G area is for Jasmine & Aladdin.

Can they fix the Liberty Inn? There's so much quality "American" food out there to choose from, but no, let's have burgers fries and coke.

Memphis-style barbecue pork ribs. ;)

I mean, hey if Tomorrowland can have those godawful turkey legs, getting real barbecue at the American Adventure should be a breeze.

Yep ... they're going to take a MAGIC carpet ride to a whole new meet-greet-and-grope locale near the entrance to Restaurant Marrakesh.

Wasn't Spoodles originally a Tapas restaurant and that did not work out so the changed it to a normal menu (and then finally closed it to put Kouzzina in its place)? But perhaps by now tapas have become more mainstream, so won't freak out the average WDW guest anymore?

I told them this exact same thing in a survey in 2011, so they'll probably be changing the menu any day now.

Tutto Gusto is a small plates place, too; I guess that must be doing well. The fare will probably be as adventurous as a F&W booth, since Epcot is turning into a year-round F&W Festival: Tutto Gusto, La Cava del Tequila, sake in Mitsukoshi, giant new Boulangerie Patisserie, Flower & Garden, tapas in Morocco...

I didn't realize that a lack food options was such a major issue in WS. Meh. A new country, new attraction, or something new/reimagined in the front half, that would be great. It seems easier to change a menu than to build an entire restaurant. That's just me though, would rather have new things to do instead of another food place.

Actually in the space you could do a restaurant concept of being Liberty Inn: A Tapestry of Flavours Flavors ... have each state represented by one dish/cocktail.

Have a rotating list of dishes inspired by each state and a cocktail, 5 starters, 5 mains, 5 dessert plus a list of 10 cocktails...swap depending on season... *boom* easy money... I'll take my consultancy fee now Disney.
