The running theory is that they're anchoring the city facades. Not sure why that would necessarily require exterior work, but it's the thing that's made the most sense from what I've heard.

Wedway
- nothing of note on the front of the building, but coming out of the right side is a big tube on the ground floor and the monorail above it
- a demonstration of motion, or an actual (kiddie) mini-ride?
I miss the days when these things are all we talked about.Although... probably a big hint that they'll extend the monorail as predicted by this monorail footer right next to PLAY!...

It could be like the monorail hallway at WDI...What is it? A visual exhibit? A simulator (unlikely) thought that would be cool.
More monorails is cool though.
From my understanding (of second hand info, so take it with a grain of salt), that is exactly what it will be. Just a bit more fancy and immersive. More effort put in so it doesn't feel like a hallway, but ultimately not much more than a neat Rainbow Tunnel style set piece for the pavilion. Something cool to walk through (possibly with some rumbling in the floor), but nothing to the level of being simulator ride.It could be like the monorail hallway at WDI...

It might have a short "show" that you stand and watch while the doors are closed to add an extra layer to it so it feels like more of an attraction itself. Or it might have the doors open and the "show" being a continuous loop as people walk through it so it feels like just one part of a larger experience.
I like it myself, if the things I've heard are accurate. A lot of what I've heard of Play is essentially just old school Imageworks with more IP. Bright, colorful, fun. Some retro Epcoty vibes mixed in but mostly surface level and fan service. That is still kinda cool.

Generally inoffensive and should be a good enough time. Especially for a filler attraction for the next 5-10 years as bigger problems with Epcot get the focus (If anything gets much focus with upcoming budget cuts lol).
