News New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

- Rope drop is now right next to SSE's queue. I believe it used to be right next to the fountain but due to the rocks leaving, they pushed it up so there wouldn't be as much of a "funnel" effect for the opening rush.
- The wall by CC West is right next to the Seas:

- CC West is dead. It's all coming down. Art store, Starbucks, Club Cool.
- The water path will *apparently* cut through from where the art store is at directly to the Seas.

I don't mind helping when the person asking is being nice about it!

I think @MisterPenguin has a diagram of the booze zone for the middle of FW.

Speaking of the Booze Zone, IIRC @Magic Feather indicated that there may be a positive development there... Anyone hear anything else?

It also seems like the monolith removal is happening a lot more quickly than last time.

From the photos of them carefully removing the tiles from the fountain it doesn't look like it's being totally ripped out and rebuilt, I guess they will just place the spires on top of the existing base and tile it again with a different tile. If they were removing the centre part like it looks in the art work I can't see them wasting time and labour removing the existing tiles like they have done.

Happy tears to see the nasty rocks being chiseled off the fountain.
I'd love to see the fountain up and going again before the holidays. Any chance?

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned but I'm going in mid November. How long is Epcots entrance going to be filled with walls? We're going with some family that has been been to Disney and while I understand these projects take time I hope the entrance isn't an ugly maze of walls when we go.

I'm guessing the front part could take 6-8 months... if they rush. The rest of Epcot, there will be walls for years.

Judging by whats been said here only one side of spaceship earth will be open the other will be a construction pathway for the possible refub. Also they look to be demoing one of the innoventions building so that side will be a huge mess, don’t want guests near that.

No room for a path. Any path would follow what’s there today, eg via the beeezeway.

West is scheduled to be all removed. East is scheduled to remain with modifications. The east (to MS) breezeway should remain an outdoor throughfare albeit minus the roof. Sadly.

I’m hoping to clarify this soon.
