Ralph was shocked to learn that Windows 95 wasn't supported anymore.

Has anyone considered that this might be a one time thing like that dragon in New Fantasyland? All the media and internet sycophants can then use youtube videos of the show to convince the mentally ill rubes who don't know the value of a buck that Disney World is the bestest place ever. After the video is uploaded they can claim that the same bacterium that was eating the brains of those ill fated few at River Country was blown into the crowd creating a kind of death mist giving many in the media a permanent case of projectile diarrhea and as a result the show must never go on. :lookaroun

Laugh floor runs on WinXP environment so...maybe?? And, I have to ask... Would it REALLY a be so bad if a chunk of the press got wiped out? ::lookaround::

Wiped out....I was merely talking about a perpetual case of projectile diarrhea, Mr. Go for the Jugular. At least I like XP as an OS, so kudos to Laugh Floor for sticking by their guns.

That's what's happens when you have a day off and I watch too much news... I'm okay with your plan! Lol. Yeah, LF went down the other day and XP was noticed during reboot as CM were trying to finish escorting guests out. I like XP too, but all good things...

I like Dinoland.

I think too often people equate "Dinorama" with "Dinoland". I *love* Dinoland as it existed when AK first opened. The Dig Site, Restaurantosaurus, CTX and even Chester & Hester's store all worked together in a fully-realized back story.

It was the addition of the Dinorama carnival area that messed things up.

Where will the dining package folks sit?

I wonder if Dining Package guests will go in the FP+ area. They could be given RFID cards at dinner that would be scanned at the FP+ posts like a park ticket or MagicBand.

The water will come from tanks under the boats. The lake water is not clean enough to spray all over dancers, and possibly on guests.

I think the major issue would be mist from the two fountains creating the projection surfaces. Those are located on land, so it's easy enough to have them use a filtered supply.

The video of the floats showed a few of them with damage from running into things. My guess would be that the guidance system is unable to keep the floats on the right path. They wouldn't have had the chance to truly test that system until it hit the lake. They also showed one of the testers using an antenna on the top of the float, which tells me the built in antenna wasn't strong enough for whatever they were trying to do. Having a long delay because of serious problems with the guidance system would sense.

That's definitely not good. You would have thought they would have tested something like that WELL in advance of being this close to beginning show dates

It would be pretty bad if they end adding guide railing inside the water.
If the problem is only a guidance issue, that may be what they end up going for. Just something to keep the floats on track.
I've used may different GPS devices, and all of them that I could afford to test will fail at some point and track me as walking through East Oshkosh, if only for a few moments. I was very impressed to hear their GPS worked consistently right down to the foot.
If it is a guidance issue, and not a water current issue, they could re-engineer the system to work off of 3 or 4 local antenna for positioning.

My feeling though is it may have more to do with water currents pushing the barges off course.
