I took some screenshots from a video on youtube of recent construction. What do those globes do?

Oh ok. I figured it had something to do with lighting, so the show won't be similar to world of color? Like water screens
The specifics for the show are still a little unknown, but I believe water screens will be used in this. If you go back a few pages there is a video from D23 that previews some water screen effects.

Here I was, expecting to see NOTHING from this show until the premiere. Pleasantly surprised we're seeing something! The lights on the trees in the back look beautiful and I'm assuming the boats are official props? Interesting. Excited, nonetheless!
I was thinking about this the other day, could we see anything from AKL after hours? Maybe the dolphin if you're on a higher floor?

I quilted some aerials shots taken on Feb 05, 2016 of the "River's of Light" stage and back stage area. There are 4 photos here. If you look down the end of the service canal you will see the new "Lotus Flower" being constructed! It's tall and round. Looks like the folding petals are just now being installed. I suspect these could be the very FIRST actual photographs of the show centerpiece on any Disney fan site.

These pictures bring forth many new questions:

1.) What is the "size" of this show?
2.) How many people can be seated?
3.) How does it compare in size to, let's say, "Fantasmic's" seating space?

So, I decided to take an exact scale sample of the "Fantasmic" amphitheater and super impose it over the "Rivers of Light" viewing area to see how it compares!

By looking at it this way, "Rivers of Light" seems to be somewhat smaller, at least in seating volume. Also, judging from the size of the Lotus Flower, I imagine that it wont be too far back in the lagoon. I'd guess it will be relatively closer to the center of the curve of the seating benches.

As far as water screen, I believe there will be a very large fountain that "arks" from right to left further near the upper middle of the lagoon. It goes from the peninsula on the right to the island on the left. (Not sure but we have seen some test runs of that fountain).

I'm not sure where other mist screens will be. If they are there, you cant see them above the water yet. Will they hidden from guests during the day and rise from under water at showtime?

Take a look at these pictures and let's toss around some ideas.

What other hidden clues do you guys see from these recon pix?

CLIFF ;-)

hmmm... i'm not sure. If you see this picture (with more light on the tree) from the view from the seating area... then ToL looks great.

I am sure the tree will play a part, even if it is just lighting effects in the background to add to the ambience. What is positive is that the projection effects Disney have teased will be a completely separate experience as the tree trunk can't be seen from this angle.
