That's the excuse those who hate HEA use, they're not at all the same. Remember just ignore those who criticize Happily Ever After, I know I do. At this point they're just being bitter for fun.

What are you watching?...hey, I liked it...but to say there's no way anyone can't? Or they're lying if they don't?

That's way out of bounds...and remember: I live with my feet dragging the "sidelines"

Well, I'm one who will be glad that Illuminations is being to be replaced. It is really dated now, we did enjoy it when it first came out but the last few years we haven't even bothered to see it. The middle bit with the globe we find totally boring now, most people I know say the same but we do know a few who like this bit though.

I'm sticking to the fact that it's basically the same thing I saw in 1986, when I was 10, lol! Same premise. I know the ball changed and they added a couple pew pew lasers and a better speaker system, but they haven't kept with the times like the rest of the nighttime shows at wdw. It didn't bore me 20 years ago, but it sure does now.
1986 Illuminations is *very* different from RoE.

Rivers of light was underwhelming, but at least its new and the tech is cool. Illuminations has basically been the same schlock since 86. Fant! is better than illuminations, even with its incoherent plot. Illuminations is a basic ground effect fireworks show with an unimpressive ball that no one can see clearly enough to care what's going on. Blech. Been ready for that show to go for YEARS.

Wait did you just say that Fantasmic is better than ROE?

DL's version, most definitely.

Wait, were comparing shows at WDW so I don't know why you'd bring DL into this but even sowhile Fantasmic is vastly better at DL, ROE is a worthy show in comparison. It's fantastic, even though its been watered down a bit the last few years.

HEA has more pyro than Wishes and my understanding is that it costs *more*, so not sure where you're getting this from.

I still have a few contacts in the area and my understanding was more bursts, less complexity/costs.

But to be fair...I was very surprises at how much they did actually have.

Way more fireworks.. I don't know why some people seem to think because they added projection that it equal less fireworks somehow.

They've earned the assumption of "more for less" for 20 years...what company have you been following?

I for one welcome more exceptions to that rule...however...

Well your contacts were wrong. HEA has many more complex shells than Wishes ever used. Heck just look at the one shell used during the lead up to the villain segment, during the Empereors speech. Not too mention bells during hunchback, spirals during Moana, dragonflies during Brave, tons and tons of special pyro effects

Well...speculation/ rumor is often wrong. Overall I was pretty impressed with the pyro.

Can I ask: what color is your Id and how big is your name tag?
