Sir Walter Raleigh, to quote one of your best poems, thank you for "The Advice"! I'll set aside the tranquilizers for now.
Trust the shovels...what's a motto with you?!?

You are a better person than me, I cannot respect any negative opinions of Happily Ever After LOL. Talk about getting me triggered, that'll do it
That's the excuse those who hate HEA use, they're not at all the same. Remember just ignore those who criticize Happily Ever After, I know I do. At this point they're just being bitter for fun.
1986 Illuminations is *very* different from RoE.I'm sticking to the fact that it's basically the same thing I saw in 1986, when I was 10, lol! Same premise. I know the ball changed and they added a couple pew pew lasers and a better speaker system, but they haven't kept with the times like the rest of the nighttime shows at wdw. It didn't bore me 20 years ago, but it sure does now.
Rivers of light was underwhelming, but at least its new and the tech is cool. Illuminations has basically been the same schlock since 86. Fant! is better than illuminations, even with its incoherent plot. Illuminations is a basic ground effect fireworks show with an unimpressive ball that no one can see clearly enough to care what's going on. Blech. Been ready for that show to go for YEARS.
For one it was called Laserphonic Fantasy1986 Illuminations is *very* different from RoE.
Ah that's right. I was thinking 1988 Illuminations, which is what I saw as a kid.For one it was called Laserphonic Fantasy
I saw Laserphonic too but for the life of me I don’t remember it aside from video.Ah that's right. I was thinking 1988 Illuminations, which is what I saw as a kid.
Wait did you just say that Fantasmic is better than ROE?
There's a danger to the cost cutting projection based shows...if you run 3 (already have 2)...people may stop watching and look to go on the rides that you haven't built
DL's version, most definitely.
HEA has more pyro than Wishes and my understanding is that it costs *more*, so not sure where you're getting this from.just changed mk (to save money..so that's the one caveat) fireworks months ago.

Way more fireworks.. I don't know why some people seem to think because they added projection that it equal less fireworks somehow.
I'm honestly surprised Disney hasn't replicated WOC type show at WDW. ROL should have had way more fountains.
Well your contacts were wrong. HEA has many more complex shells than Wishes ever used. Heck just look at the one shell used during the lead up to the villain segment, during the Empereors speech. Not too mention bells during hunchback, spirals during Moana, dragonflies during Brave, tons and tons of special pyro effects
